I have a bunch of 8x8
spoonflower prints that have been sitting here staring at me. I've been searching for some fun ways to use them with no luck. Until today while browsing...Pinterest of course! I got these cute notebooks from the 1.00 spot in March from Michaels, so I decided to cover the outside of the notebooks with the fabric. After doing the first one I thought, there has to be a better way. Then I remembered Mark Montano in his book,
The Big Ass Book of Crafts, showed how to build a book completely out of cardboard laying around. So I used the same concept.
Since the front of my books had patterns on them I used a thick cardstock to trace and cover with the fabric. Then I used
Helmar's 450 quick dry to put everything together. Here's how I did the fabric books and a sample of a full book that I made out of cardboard and scrap paper I had laying around!
