Hari Raya Goodies
It was a very hectic month this year completing all the orders for cookies and cakes. These are some of the cakes I baked – cranberries lapis, ice-cream lapis, blueberry cheese lapis, prune lapis, durian lapis, chocolate cake, carrot cakes, vanilla cake, colourful roll and macarons.
Sophia’s Birthday Party
Sophia had a birthday party cum Iftar during the fasting month. There was plenty of food besides the main birthday cake.
There were cupcakes for her cousins, durian crumble tarts, fruit tarts, macarons and her doll cake which was a rainbow cake.
Adeelya’s Butterfly Birthday cake
8-yr old Adeelya wanted an ice cream cake for her birthday and she wanted a design of a butterfly. Since I only have a small butterfly mould, I placed it on the cake and piped colourful dots on it. The outcome was pretty good.
Subha’s Doll Cake
Subha turned 18 and her aunty surprised her with a princess cake as she is the princess in the family.
A Wedding Cake
A friend who’s in Paris wanted to present his sister with a wedding cake on her big day. The bride chose pink for her cake.
The cupcakes were done by his cousin.
