First I chatted for two hours looking for the right camera. As soon as I purchased it- the ad showed I could’ve gotten two for the same price and immediately asked the chat to cancel first order. Within two minutes. They said they couldn’t so then I have to reach back out and ask for a label. Wait for me to have to go to the store to return it and when they see that receipt they’ll refund me.
Then I finally get around to getting the sd cards and one will not take it. So I have to ask for a label again- and I just moved twice in one month and now I need to get their broken camera to the store again for return. Then they want me to send them the receipt saying it was mailed so they can refund me and then I can purchase it again…it was a two- for price. Just send me the new fkn camera.
Needs detailed set up instructions
So far, everything is working great. Although, initial set up instructions need to include on the first line, clearly, that the item will need to be set up to connect to the Homebase before actual installation.

Palm reader not accuracy
I bought the version with the palm reader because sometimes I had to place my finger on the scanner multiple times. I thought this would solve the problem, but ultimately, it seems it was even worse than using my fingerprint.
Installation
Installation is pretty easy. The set up on your phone is more difficult. Like getting cameras in order and renaming a camera. I also installed a base station. The instructions talked about extra memory, I can't find that anywhere on the website to purchase. Also not the base station set up isn't the best.
C31 camera doorbell is not fit for purpose
The Eufy C31 camera doorbell is not fit for purpose. It consistently misses live events because it fails to record them, making the device unreliable for its primary function.
In addition, the 24-hour live playback rarely connects and fails on almost every attempt, which makes reviewing footage extremely frustrating.
I purchased this doorbell to replace a Ring doorbell due to the increased subscription costs, but unfortunately the Eufy device simply does not perform as expected.
Did not connect to internet
Quality looks good but I don’t know if the cameras work because the app / internet joining or set up did not work at all. It was not as easy as stated. Need assistance with set up.

I love Eufy and their products. My camera system literally came the day after ordering them even tho it said 2-3 days. And I'm loving the video quality.
Love my camera's
Love my camera's! I now own 3. Fairly easy to setup. I have 2 of the S340 installed on the outside of my house. Just got the E220 for indoors which has been setup but not installed yet. The quality is great. A lot of people have Ring's and have a monthly fee to use. I am very happy to say Eufy does not charge a monthly fee. I have referred many friends to Eufy!

If I had a do over I wouldn’t purchase eufy!
The first couple weeks all good no issues. Now all the sudden our events keep decrypting when away from home. So it’s like not having security as we can’t see why the camera recorded an event. Everything they told us to do did not work. So think hard before spending $$$$.
Wouldn’t Connect
I couldn’t get the doorbell camera to connect to wifi despite having the correct wifi for it to connect to. Then it started speaking Spanish too. I was told by customer service (or the bot pretending to be customer service) that there was nothing they could do. I’ve gotten a full refund.

I was unable to get the base station to connect with app. I had Geek Squad come to the house today to see if they could show me how to do it. They could not get it to connect nor could they get it to reset for a second try. I’m perplexed and disappointed.

Customer service is spot on. I had an issue with one of my cameras. They helped me debug the problem and eventually replaced the camera. No complaints at all. Very easy to work with and incredibly knowledgeable.

Not only do they advertise that they work with Google to in fact not work with Google at all, but I also thought the picture looked very washed out in bright light. Then when I went to return it I had to pay to ship it back which teaches me not to buy things from the manufacturer but rather from Amazon where I could have got it for the same price and shipped it for free.

Bought a C20 robot cleaner/washer via Amazon late December 2025. This was purchased with a special Amazon offer. Arrived faulty, several phone calls and customer service contacts later, it was deemed necessary to return the machine. I requested a replacement, like for like, and advised that was not possible. BEWARE, this company does not play fair and I would not recommend!
