Julie's Inspiration Post


Happy Monday!  We're very close to Christmas.  Are you ready? It's just not going to be the same this year, but we'll make the best of it, won't we?

New releases

Here is my card using Ching Chou Kuik image, Aurora Woods

I used a "New" technique for my Ching Chou Kuik image.
I colored the background and trees with Distress Oxide Ink

I have used Prismacolor Pencils to color the image.

Kym's Inspiration Post - Friday 22 November 2019

  Here is my weekly inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog.

Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "REMEMBRANCE/THANKSGIVING/THINKING OF YOU".

This week the Design Team were challenged with "CHRISTMAS".

 For my Christmas card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Aurora Woods".  I have coloured the image in with Promarkers and used a white Posca pen for the snow.

  For my Christmas card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik digital stamp called "Aurora Woods".  I have coloured the image in with Promarkers, chalked the background and highlighted areas with my white gel pen to resemble snow.

New release

  Today sees the arrival of a new set of images in the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Etsy Store:
 Now put your hands up everybody who loves the images by the amazingly talented Ching-Chou Kuik but has not got the time to colour in images?  I think that could be many of us if truth be told especially at this time of year.

What is the solution?

Well you could buy this set of 3 images entitled "Winter Holiday Set 1" which includes the images "Holy Venice Night", "Aurora Woods" and "Holly Fairy" that are hand painted digital coloured art by Ching-Chou Kuik.  This means you can just print and go and make amazing cards with these beautiful images.

For those that know me there is no doubt what colour comes to mind for me for a colour that I dislike/don't use very often ............... and that is GREEN!!!

Sylvia's inspiration on "Aurora Woods".


Hello dear crafters,

Today I want to share a very natural card with you.
This is "Aurora Woods". 

I wanted to make a real natural card with mossy and brownish colors.
I colored the digital stamp with distress inks.
And I fuzzy cut the image so it would pop on the card.
The background papers is once again made with aquarelle papers 
and distress inks. 
I added some brownish snowflakes for the dimension.

Alica's Inspiration Post - December 18. 2015


As you probably noticed, we are all featuring Aurora Woods this week. Isn't it fun to see the same image in so many variations?
Here is my take:
Since I have enough Christmas cards for this year, I decided to make it into a wintery card that can be used for any occasion. I used soft pastel colors and lots of Frantage embossing powder. For more detail visit my blog.

Vannessa's Inspiration Post - Tuesday 15th December 2015

Good Morning and welcome to my inspiration post for this week. The DT are all showcasing the same card this time, using the gorgeous Aurora Woods. I decided to make a Christmas card using her in a very neutral colour palette. Not one I would usually use for a Christmas card, but I totally LOVE it!

Showcase Card - Friday 2 January 2015


Haven't we had a lovely array of cards/creations to share over the last few weeks?  Just a few more days and you will see again creations from the Design Team Members.
