The Mafia King’s Contract Groom is a 28-episode AI vertical BL series that dropped its first episode on Series Vision in December 22, 2025, well, that is the earliest appearances of the drama that I know of… It then dropped in full around January 16, 2026 on MoreShort, and it has just landed on GoodShort as well just recently in early April. I have resisted watching AI dramas before but I finally watched this one yesterday and I have to admit it is quite funny, very anime-like. You have to treat AI dramas as a new form of animation, well basically that is what it is, except it is animated as “real-life action” rather than a drawn animation.

OK, back to reality after my previous post for April Fool’s Day, LOL… However this long awaited series may turn out to be another April Fool’s joke, as many believe the release of this series to be a fake since the news broke yesterday on April 1, 2026, but there are new posters and teaser, so let’s wait and see. Wooju Bakery 우주빵집 is an 8-episode Thai and Korean co-produced BL series which will premiere on April 10, 2026 on the Korean app Wavve 웨이브. I believe there is an OST for the series, but not sure if it will be released since the series has been shelved for so long after the original Korean production company went broke…
Update April 8, 2026: The premiere date has been delayed and will now premiere on April 20, 2026 on Wavve 웨이브.
Update April 10, 2026: LOL, it looks like Wavve 웨이브 in Korea won’t get the premiere anymore, instead the series will get its premiere internationally first on April 19, 2026 on GagaOOLala!
