Hungry Little Reindeer

Good Morning,

I am here today with another Christmas card to share with you for Noor Designs UK, I have used the gorgeous Pion Designs Christmas Wishes collection. There are so many pretty images in this collection so I am sure I will be back with some more inspiration for you using these papers.



I originally cut out the image as a rectangle but when I put it on the card it didn't quite look right so I have carefully ripped the edges & added some distressed ink around it.


Tracy has just got in these super burlap flowers & spirals, they are brilliant & go so well with these papers.


Just another little pic for you. Under the burlap flowers I have used the Happy Holiday Poinsettia die to give the flowers a little more dimension.

Christmas Cheer


Good Afternoon,

I have chosen Winter as my season mainly because I really need to get going on my Christmas Cards.


I have coloured up Tilda with Little Rudolf using Distressed Markers & have added some snowtex around the outside. The papers are from Maja Designs 'I Wish 6x6 Paper Pad.

When I was Little


Good Morning,

I am trying to hold on to the hope of warmer weather for a few more days at least, the weekend was lovely but sadly the week seems to have started off on a different note. Fingers crossed it brightens up.


I have made a card using the lovely Pion Designs Patchwork of Life paper Collection. I have used the When I was little & Baby Blanket 12x12 papers.


I have cut out the little girl to fit inside the Scrapiniec Fantasma 1 Layered Frame, when i saw this frame I just knew what I wanted to do with it.



I have added some flowers, cheesecloth & the sweet little heart embellishment and I can not forget this gorgeous lace butterfly that finishes off the card perfectly.

We are Sailing

I have used papers from the Pion Designs Legends of the Sea Collection that you can fine Here. I just loved the ship and had to use it as a focal point.


I have added some bronze leaf swirls to the corners & a little vintage sea button both from Noor Designs Here

Noor Designs DT Call


Good Morning,

Tracy over at Noor Designs is having a DT call & as I absolutely love all the things that Tracy stocks I thought I would have a go and enter.

I have been crafting now for about 4 years but I have always been very creative. I did make all the invites, order of service etc for our wedding (Chris did help lol) that was 7 years ago now , wow how time flies. Thankfully we kept everything we bought for that so when I decided that making Christmas cards was a good idea I have a few things to start me off, little did I know how quickly the card-making bug would take hold.
I now have a purpose built Crafty Shack to keep my ever growing stash of goodies in, I have asked if I could have an extension built but Chris just shakes his head & walks away lol

I think I would be a good fit for the team as I love trying new things & have learnt a lot from following the Noor Designs Blog over the last few years. I would love to be part of this fabulous DT and be able to showcase all the lovely goodies that are in the shop & maybe inspire someone like I have been inspired myself.

I am on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest & Twitter.



I have coloured up Porch Tilda using Distressed Markers & have added some glamour dust to the flowers.


I have been having a play with the Foamiran again to make a few flowers, they are such fun to make, I have used the Peach coloured foamiran for these & the colour went so well with papers. The dies for the larger flower are from Whimsy & can be found Here & the dies for the smaller flowers are Rosy Owl which can be found Here


I have used quite a lot of goodies from the New Crafteezee Collection, the papers, lace, ribbon, leaves & bee embellishment are all from the collection.

New Release Hotel Resort


Good Morning,

It's new release time again over at Crafty Sentiments & this is the first of the June Release. 
This super cute rubber stamp is called Hotel Resort



I have coloured her up using distressed markers, the papers are from an old paper pad that I found & I just loved the vintage feel of the papers


I have coloured up the little dog the same colours as my little doggy Zosia ;-)

GDT at TioT



Good Morning,

I am a tad late with this post but as I was writing it this morning I had a call from my Mum who has managed to fall over in the icy conditions here & we thing she has broken her arm. My dad has whisked her off to the Hospital but as she was out walking my little dog I had to go & pick her up. Hopefully I should know more about how my Mum is later.

Right onto why I was writing, I have been asked to be a guest designer over at Try it on Tuesday & the theme for this Challenge is 

Tissue

It could be a napkin, something you have made  with mop up tissues, stamping on tissue etc etc.....



I have stamped this vintage car stamp onto some Tissue Paper along with the sentiment & have added some more tissue behind the layers of paper for a bit more dimension. 


As this is a male card I do find ti quite hard to not over embellish as I do just love all the flowers & sparkle but sadly most men I know don't lol

Greetings from the North Pole


Good Morning,

I'm here to share a slightly different kind of card for me as it doesn't have a hand coloured image. I watched a tutorial by Pamellia Johnson that you can find Here & I just loved what she made so had to have a go myself. 


I have changed the papers as I had this gorgeous Reindeer that I didn't know what to do with & slightly different embellishments.



This lovely deer bauble & most of the embellishments are from Live & Love Crafts as I did buy quite a lot of things from there as they are sadly closing down :-(


I'm so please with how it turned out & will have to make some more like this with all different papers as they are quite quick to make.

Faylinn is Pretty in Pink


Good Morning,

After a restful 2 week holiday with the hubby & little doggy Zosia, it was back to the grind of everyday life on Monday. 

It's that time again it's Challenge time over at the Art by Miran Challenge who's theme is Anything Goes & over at The Alphabet Challenge it's P is for Pretty in Pink. 



I have coloured up Faylinn from Art by Miran using my Copics. Yes I have dusted off the pens for a few cards which was fun.


As usual I have added some glamour dust (I do love this stuff lol) to her wings as fairies should have sparkly wings.


I have used a vast array of things from the Crafteezee Collection that is available from Noor designs Here. The papers, flowers, resin corner & sparkly diamante bow with pearl are from the August collection & the lace is also from Noor designs but was bought separately.

Little Bird House


Good Morning,

It's the first of the month so that means Challenge day over at Crafts Galore Encore, our theme this month is Anything Goes



I have used an image from our sponsor Beccys Place called Raspberry House. I have coloured the image up using Distressed Markers


I have added some sparkle to the flowers & raspberries but as usual the picture doesn't show it.
