ATSM #484 - Any Occasion

Addicted to Stamps & More! is back with our first challenge of 2025: Any Occasion. You'll also find that we've updated our blog look with clearer instructions and fresh badges.

I needed to make some thank you cards for holiday gifts received and decided to use a theme plus new crafty goodies--win, win!

The first card is for a friend who loves pink and cute and Lawn Fawn, not necessarily in that order but probably.

This second card uses the cut out hearts from the first card as part of the shaker guts. I normally toss those away before the cats get to them but made these cards in one session and managed to keep them safe.

Btw, this is a minimal shaker in that I didn't pop up the full front but instead just a thick foam dot in the middle so it's shakeable but still mailable at regular postage rates.

For the final card I used my friend's favorite color and tags since she seems to love making those. What a weirdo! ;-p

Christmas Postage: Snowmen

Happy New Year! Today let's look at the snowmen postage collage cards I worked up. I didn't use a lot of colors this time (it occurrs to me that random rainbow would be fab) so mixed it up in different ways.

For the first I cut apart the postage and created two cards with additional embossing. I particular love the SU Linen texture.

Catherine Pooler Suede Shoes, Something Borrowed, Midnight, and Orange Twist.

I created a shaker for this one. I adhered acetate to the front panel and popped up the middle with a couple of foam dots. The rest is flat but that middle foam area is enough to allow movement but be within post office regular postage rate.

The black and white border add to the modern feel of these next two, not to mention the bright colors.

Winter Snowball Machine

I was inspired by the latest Lawn Fawn #177 Christmas in July Challenge to create this cute holiday/winter card.

I haven't made a shaker in a while and was reminded why when a bunch of glitter hit me in the face because I had forgotten to turn the room fan off. So very me and so very glamorous!

Snow One Else Like You

Isn't this Sunny Studio image the cutest? Easy to color, plus easy to fussy cut the accessories.

I used the Lawn Fawn Build-A-Snow Globe dies to create a fairly clean and simple shaker. Adorbs!!

Be Good for Goodness Shake

I participated in a fun crafty zoom session with some friends this past weekend and made a few Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel cards using the new release. Why must they put out new stuff that goes so well with my old stuff? Make me spend my money!!! LOL.

It's been quite some time since I've done a Reveal Wheel. In the past, I didn't have any of the round templates to help place the images in the aperture; what a difference those make! I'm so so hooked now.

I did that thing where you place the die off the edge of the platform when you diecut and then cut out the mountains from the top with another mountain layer beneath. Aren't they fab? And they're pink--super fab!

I also made this into a shaker by adding acetate & foam tape behind the bear then layering that on top of the Reveal Wheel aperture. Neat!

Cloche Shaker

This was an ambitious card, let me tell ya.

I wanted to put the houses inside the cloche as seen but it didn't occur to me it would require foam tape because of all the scene layers--DUH. Once I realized that I figured I may as well turn it into a shaker while I had the foam out.

My next attempt will be a gingerbread neighborhood using the village. Now to find the time!

BRI - Awesome Rainbow Birthday

It's Butterfly Reflections Ink Monday again (can you believe how quickly summer is passing us by?!) and have I got a cute card for you.

I created the shaker "packet" using the Lawn Fawn Secret Garden Window with a scrap piece of Copic-friendly cardstock beneath so I could stamp and color the LF Elephant Parade Add-On images directly on it--thus, no edges to stop the rainbow confetti from moving about.

I adhered that to the LF Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Backdrop card front. If you want a little something-something on your card front but not too much, the polka dots or polka hearts in white on white are a great option.

Notice I trimmed off some of the Secret Garden Window greenery along the top and added happy little clouds in its place. I added the same paper for the banner sentiment which helped to balance the scene as well as being super fun and cute.
