Here's a last Christmas card for the year.

I did a bit of Zentangle work creating the two ornaments hanging from a pine branch.  And this time I decided to add some colours to it instead of leaving it black and white.

A Zentangle Piece

Hello.

I took a short detour from card-making and did something different.  I was in a mood to do some tangling so I created this Zentangle piece.

Don't ask me what it's a picture of...hee hee.  I have no idea!  I started with the four circles and then just keep adding patterns to them.  And that's what I ended up with.

That's it for now.  Thanks for stopping by.  Your visit is always very much appreciated.  Enjoy your   weekend!

Season's Greetings

Hello.

Here's my latest Christmas card.

I did this one just for one.  I wanted to do a Zentangle and tangle those trees.  Do you recognize them?  The image is a stamped image--from one of my favorite Magnolia background stamps.

The names of the stamps I've used are:
Winter Forest all the way back from the Santa Collection 2008.
- Mini Tilda in Cozy Coat from the newly-released Waiting For Christmas Collection 2014

Ughh..I did such a crappy job with the third tree--I'm really really not happy with it!  I'll have to try another pattern next time.
Colouring was done with Letraset markers--colours listed at end of posting.

Magnolia stamps are available from Magnolia-licious, Diana's on-line store where she carries a large selection of both full-size and mini stamps.  And if you don't see the particular one you are looking for, ask Diana if she can bring it in for you.
Check out also the stamps from Wee StampsWild Rose StudiosSaturated Canary and Candibeans.
Magnolia-licious also carries cutting dies from various companies including Memory BoxPoppyStampsMagnolia DoohickeyWild Rose Studio.  Have a look!
Prices are discounted, you get excellent customer service and you also get to earn 2% credit to be applied to future purchases.

This is how I've decorated the inside of my card.

Did a bit more tangling.  I need more practice!

Large Butterfly Zentangle

Hello!

I've been working on a number of craft projects, but they're either not for blogging here or can't be posted yet.  That's why I haven't posted for a while.

I came across this Large Butterfly image when I was going through my Magnolia stamps looking for images I can use in the current Magnolia-licious challenge of 'Summer Buggy Fun'.  I decided to have some fun and made a Zentangle of it...then created a card with the finished work.

Tilda and Her Tangled Balloons - Magnolia-licious 'Anything Goes'

Hello.

We're midway into our 'Anything Goes' challenge at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog.  Today it's Team B's turn to post our cards to inspire you to play along.  Visit the Magnolia-licious Challenge to get complete details of the challenge and how you can join in the fun.  Don't forget to check out the fabulous cards my DT teammates have created for you.

Here is what I've created...

This picture below is to better show the 3-dimensional look of the floral arrangements.

And the inside of my card...

By the way, that green-coloured designer paper is really more of an olive-green tone in real life, a shade that I realy like.  I don't know what it looks like on your computer, but what's showing on my laptop right now is a more lime-green colour...pukey green, eeuww!

I like finding small parts in Magnolia images that I can play around with and do a wee bit of Zentangle.  In these two Tilda images, I found the balloons to tangle.  Not really happy with the pattern I did on the balloon on the card front...oh well, too late now...sigh.

Up Up And Away from the With Love Collection 2013

You can find the stamps for these two Tildas at Magnolia-licious on-line store, as well as other equally adorable Magnolia images--both full size and mini.  And if you don't see the particular one you are looking for, ask Diana if she can bring it in for you.  Check out also the stamps from Wee StampsWild Rose StudiosPenny Black and Candibeans.  Magnolia-licious also carries cutting dies from various companies including Memory BoxPoppyStampsMagnolia Doohickey.
Prices are discounted, you get excellent customer service and what's more, you get to earn 2% credit to be applied to future purchases.  Sweet!

Oh I like using these dragonflies on my card.  Makes a nice change from butterflies.  I used a Willow Dragonfly, Memory Box 98319 die that is available from Magnolia-licious.  I used translucent parchment paper for the wings and drew lines on them for the veins (or whatever you call them).

There's also a larger-size similar dragonfly die called Meadow Dragonfly, Memory Box 98318.

Challenges for this card:
Addicted to Stamps Challenge #92 - Make Your Mark (markers used)
Going Grey with Scrap-Creations Challenge - Anything Goes
Creative Card Crew Challenge #60 - Girly

Easter Greetings - Magnolia-licious 'CAS'

To enter your name in the draw for my 5th Blogoversary Candy, click HERE.

Hello.

We're midway in our current 'Clean and Simple' challenge at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog.   We want to see cards/projects with limited embellishments and decorations--less is more!  Today it's Team B's turn to post our DT cards/projects for your inspiration.  Hop over to the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog to get complete details of the challenge and how you can join in the fun.  Don't forget to check out my DT teammates' fabulous projects/cards while you're there.

CAS is definitely not my style!  I love my embellishments--flowers, diecuts, pearls, etc.  And I must confess that I usually end up adding embellisments to my CAS cards before mailing them off.  I simply can't force myself to send any card of mine so bare...tee hee.

Anyway,  here is my CAS card--simple layout and clean of embellishments.

And you know that I simply can't leave the inside of my card undecorated, so I did worked on it but still keeping it CAS also--we're talking layout here...hee hee.

I admit that both images I used here are not what you call 'simple', but if you replace them with whatever you want, toppers or simply stamped images, then it fits the CAS bill don't you think?...ha ha

I did some masking to create the scene on the front of my card.  The two Magnolia images I used here are:

- Tilda With Her Rabbit from the Special Moments Collection 2013
- Tilda's Heart Flowers from the Sweet Crazy Love Collection 2012

And for the inside of the card, I drew a Zentangle egg below this Tilda image.  (Oh, the Tilda's Heart Flowers image above have been tangled also.)

- Frizzy Tilda from the Sea Breeze Collection 2013

You can find the three stamps I used on this card at Magnolia-licious on-line store, where you can also find other equally adorable Magnolia images--both full size and mini.  And if you don't see the particular one you are looking for, ask Diana if she can bring it in for you.  Check out also the stamps from Wee Stamps, Wild Rose Studios, Penny Black and CandibeansMagnolia-licious also carries cutting dies from various companies including Memory BoxPoppyStamps, Magnolia Doohickey.
Prices are discounted, you get excellent customer service and what's more, you get to earn 2% credit to be applied to future purchases.  Cool!

Challenges for this card:
Crafts Galore Encore Challenge #3 - Use a stamp or digi stamp
The Crafting Cafe March Challenge - CAS
As You Like It Challenge - Favorite colouring medium and why (alcohol-ink markers, Letraset Promarkers and Pantone Trias, love the way I can blend colours)

Just for fun - Tilda All Tangled Up

Hello.

This is going to be very short posting.  I just wanted to show a card that I did just for fun.  Trying to do a Zentangle piece here.  I've tangled up one of my very favorite Tildas...tee hee.

This adorable Magnolia image is called Rose Scent Tilda from the Sweet Crazy Love Collection 2012.  She's one of my Top 5 favorite Tildas.  I've coloured her with coloured pencils.  The image was stamped on watercolour paper--better paper for Zentangle I thought--rather than the usual paper I used for colouring with markers.

You can find this Rose Scent Tilda at Magnolia-licious on-line store, where you can also find other equally adorable Magnolia images--both full size and mini.
Sweet!

Challenges for this card:

Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge #15 - Anything Goes
One Crazy Stamper February Challenge - Anything Goes
Heart and Soul - Bloggers Challenge Colour Splash - Black, white and a splash of colour

Happy 60th, Danielle

Hello!

Just a reminder of the current challenge at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog.  The theme is 'Anything Goes'--which is probably just about everyone's favorite.  Not sure if it's mine though...tee hee.  Anyway you still have a bit of time left to join in the fun. Details can be found at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog.  Have a look also at the fabulous cards/projects of my DT teammates for inspirations.  This week it's Team B's turn to post their cards...and that means me!

This was the card that I made for my friend Danielle.  It was a milestone birthday so I wanted to make her something special.  Also, I had hoped to get it to her in time, but ahem...I was late with it.  (Sorry, Danielle!)

I drew some Zentangle patterns to make the figure 60.  (I'm really liking Zentangle, Diana!)  Would love to try to do more tangling if I can just find the time...LOL.

This is another easel card from me.  Tee hee...it's my fave type of cards, so there are lots of these on my blog.

I'm featuring a couple of adorable Magnolia images here:

Princess Pea Tilda from the Once Upon A Time Collection 2013
- Tilda Binding Flowers from the Special Moments Collection 2013

Magnolia-licious, Diana's on-line store is an excellent source for your Magnolia stamps.  Diana  carries a large selection of both the full size and mini stamps.  And if you don't see the particular one you are looking for, contact Diana and ask her if she can bring it in for you.
Check out the selection of Wee Stamps by Sylvia Zet and newly introduced to the store are the wonderful Wild Rose Studio stamps.
Prices are discounted!  Along with excellent customer service, you get to earn 2% in-store credit of every order which you can apply to future purchases.  Sweet!

Hope you can join our 'Anything Goes' challenge.  You can win a terrific price.

Also a reminder that the comments you leave on the Magnolia-licious' and any/all of the DT gals' blogs will be entered into a draw for the Surprise Package Prize each week--only one comment per blog per post please, for ALL Mini Monday, Wee Wednesday and Challenge posts. Winners are posted on Wednesdays.

As for me, I am entering the following challenges with this card:
