Impression Obsession Challenge: Friendship Flowers

Hello friends! Welcome to another fun Impression Obsession Challenge, this time it is "Friendship Flowers"!!
To enter the challenge go to the  Impression Obsession blog (all the details are there!). A random challenge card will be selected to showcase on the IO blog AND you can to enter to win a $25 gift certificate to IO just by playing!

So, I want to share with you how I made this card, super simple, but with fun details.

For this project I used  "Spring Floral Heart" and "Sweet Happines"

First, I stamped the image using my Mini MISTI on a piece of watercolor paper in Jet Black Ink, then colored the image with Chameleon Color Tones PencilsI didn't use a solution to blend the colors, just the pencils and they blend beautifully.

After the image was colored, I cut it out. I wanted a bit of shimmer, but wasn't sure if a marker will change the color of the image, so I covered the image with Versamark Watermark ink and added Clear embossing powder. The image was beautifully coated, shiny and didn't change the colors.

I cut a piece of White Cardstock 4" x 5.25" and scored the whole piece every 1/4". The background is very cool, I hope you can see it here.
Then, stamped the sentiment on a piece f Vellum in Versamark Watermark and added White Embossing Powder, adhered it on top of image and added rhinestones.
All panels were added to card base using foam adhesive.

Hope you like it!
Have a fantastic day!

Delicate Rose Card Set

Hello friends!!Today I want to share a set of cards I made using a lot of scraps!! Yes, everything but the card bases were scrap pieces. I've been cleaning  my craft room, well, it is still a work in progress, but I was able to organize a lot of scraps, so much that I decided to die-cut some of them to make cute card panels for my projects!!
These are the dies I used:

TUTTI-421 Delicate RoseTUTTI-418 Scalloped Stitched Nesting RectanglesTUTTI-217 Nesting Stitched Rectangles

These are the pieces I die-cut: Stitched Rectangles are from watercolor paper, the Scalloped Stitched Rectangles are pink and salmon cardstock color. I die-cut some frames, but I ended up not using them.
Watercolor the white stitched rectangles pieces using Pink Shimmer markers and water.
Adhere the watercolor pieces to the scalloped pieces using foam adhesive.
Stamp the sentiment using your MISTI, then adhere the die cut roses to the watercolor panels. The sentiment is from Many Mandalas by Concord & 9th
All panels were adhered to a light gray cardstock card base. Add sequins and using shimmer to roses with a shimmer marker.

Here is the trio of Thank you Cards.

Here is the trio of Wishing you Cards

Love, peace, joy

Hello friends! How is your weekend going? I meant to write this earlier today, but the day went by way too fast, and here I am, it's almost 9:00 pm and typing and watching Charlie Brown, oh my, I am having so much fun!

Last night, I decided to craft to calm down the busyness of my day and it worked perfectly. I found this super cute sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch and decided to give it a try, plus I had in mind the Watercolor Challenge from Where Creativity Meets C9 using my new stamps and dies from Concord & 9th.

So, I decided to take pictures of the process, I hope you can find it helpful, so let's get started:

  • After the color piece is dried, die-cut the JOY word.

  • Finally, adhere JOY with foam adhesive and get it ready to send to a special one {wink, wink}

Hope you like it and get inspired!
Have a fantastic weekend!

Exciting news to share and a little tutorial!

Hello friends! Today, I have exciting news to share, I am part of a new team in the craft world! Yes, I am part of the Rainbow Tape Design Team! You should go and check out the metallic and masking tapes, the team will be sharing ideas this week and also giving away some tape love!!

So today, I have a super cute and easy Christmas card. I used 1/8"Metallic Red Tape and 1/4" White Masking Tape

1.- I started with a 3.75" x 5" piece of watercolor paper, masked all the edges with 1/4 White Masking Tape and also added it to the center part to create a little hill.

2.- I painted the watercolor paper with Kuretake Gansai Watercolors, just added blue and yellow and blended the colors until I was happy with it.

3.- I stamped the trees from O Christmas tree set from Concord & 9th in 3 different colors of Distress Inks: Forest Moss, Pine needle and Peeled paint.

4.-  After I finished with all the stamping, I removed the Masking Tape, and with a wet paint brush I moved a little bit of the green onto the ground. Then, I added the 1/8" Metallic Red Tape around the image to create a cool frame. The red tape really pops, love it!

And this is how the card looks like , I adhered the watercolor panel to a A2 White card base and added little drops of White Liquid Pearl to create  snow look.

Don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win.
