Just a guy being a dude

Here are some dot points

  • I like building things, which is not original. I like breaking things (by mistake) and then struggling to fix them.
  • I rather learn a lot about a few things rather than learning a few things about a lot.
  • My perfect frontend is an excel spreadsheet - I'm not your guy if you want something pretty.
  • I like infrastructure and system administration. I also like programming.
  • I like playing detective to find out why something fell over.
  • I say 'like' and 'things' far too much, I should probably do something about that

I am still figuring out where I want to go within technology. SRE and DevOps is very appealing, as is Data Engineering. choices, choices...
