how to label an equation generated by code using sympy

Hi,

I am trying to label an equation generated trough code with sympy and markdown.

here a simple snippet of code:

the following is the @eq-xyz

```{python}
#| label: eq-xyz

from sympy import *
from IPython.display import Markdown
var('x y z')
xyz_eq = Eq(x, y+z)
Markdown(latex(xyz_eq, mode='equation'))
```

the result is almost what I expect to see (at least in pdf), but the reference is not resolved.

in html tough the number is missing:

[kompre]

Night brought counsel and I found out my own workaround.

This works:

from sympy import *
from IPython.display import Markdown


var('x y z')

xyz_eq = Eq(x, y+z)

Markdown(f'$$\n{latex(xyz_eq)}\n$${{#eq-xyz}}')


```
