• Cardmaking with a Glow + Altenew Giveaway

Hello everyone!
I’m excited to share a card today featuring Altenew’s products

There’s something so comforting about cards that include light—lanterns, candles, and soft glows, which always feel warm and meaningful. Today I’m sharing this delicate lantern card,, along with a small giveaway to celebrate!

For this card, I used the Decorative Lantern Layering Die Set as the focal point. I love how the layered pieces add instant dimension, especially when paired with soft ink blending and nature-inspired details. The leafy branch frames the lantern beautifully and helps draw the eye toward the center of the card. The new Petal shaper tool helps shape the petals with ease.

The lantern was die-cut from cardstock and softly ink-blended to give it depth while keeping the look light and airy. I added a subtle glow behind it using pale watercolor wash and a few ink splatters for texture. The layered leaves and tiny flowers bring in a gentle pop of color without overpowering the design.

A simple sentiment finished the card—perfect for sending encouragement, love, or just a thoughtful note.

LNYC - Happy New Year Card

Hello everyone! Isha here and I am so excited to be a guest over at Lunar New Year Challenge for the month of December.

Hello crafty friends! Isha here and I am so excited to be a guest over at Lunar New Year Challenge for the month of December. I used some Sunny Studio products to create my card. Those pandas are really cute right?

I started by sponging the background using mustard seed, kitsch flamingo and candied apple distress oxide inks to a white panel. Flick some gold splatters, let dry. Emboss this panel using the Buffalo Plaid Diagonal Die.

Stamp the sentiment from the Holiday Greetings stamp set using embossing ink. Sprinkle WOW! Gold Embossing Powder and heat set. Die-cut using the coordinating dies.

Stamp the panda images from the Panda Party stamp set, color using copic markers and die-cut using the coordinating dies. Assemble the card as per the card photo.
I also have a video for you, you can watch it HERE

Altenew Celebrating Watercolors Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in Total Prizes!)

Hello and welcome to the Celebrating Watercolors blog hop by Altenew. I love this theme as you all know my love for coloring, especially watercolors.

You should have come here from Ishani Sai's blog

I've used Altenew Artists' watercolors 24 pan set for my projects and these are just so versatile and GORGEOUS.

For the first card I decided to use the pretty Whispy Feathers layered feathers dies along with the Artists watercolor, Tartan stamp, Label Love stamp and the Delicate Mandala die.

for this next card, I used the Magnolia Ballerina stamp and dies, I stamped the image onto watercolor paper using white embossing powder, added multiple colors from the Artists watercolor palette. Die-cut and adhere to a white cardbase.

card 3: I applied some distress oxide inks to the gelli plate, smoothen it using a brayer and took a print onto white cardstock. I then sponged Altenew crisp ink through the broken Cheverons Stencil. Deboss this panel using the Dotted Swirls Debossing cover die. Die-cut two pieces of the Lace die. Adhere to the panel. Die-cut all the elements of the Magnolia flower and leaves from watercolor paper. Add color using the Artists watercolor. Adhere to the card

I used the outline image of the Build-A-Flower Narcissus, stamped it with versamark ink and embossed using white embossing powder. Color using Artists watercolors. Stamp the leaf cluster using any light ink, color over it using the artists watercolor, die-cut and create the floral cluster.

for the next card, I was trying out the watercolors and simply painted some freehand florals and leaves onto Arches cold press watercolor paper. I used the sentiment from the Incredible stamp set.
Once the image was dry, I flicked some black splatters and stamped the sentiment.

Since, I enjoyed the freehand watercoloring process, I made the next card a bit easier. I stamped the Watercolor Halftone floral cluster onto arches cold press watercolor paper panel using Altenew Rose
Quartz ink. Now I had a shape ready for me to play with the watercolors. I used the watercolors to color the image.
I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Incredible stamp set using silver embossing powder.

For the last card, I went with no-line coloring technique. I love this technique in all the coloring mediums. First I created a background watercolor wash in muted colors. I then stamped the florals from the Garden Treasure stamp set and the leaves from the Leaf Clusters stamp set using Antique Linen distress ink onto Fabriano Artistico hot press watercolor paper.
I find this ink to be perfect for my kind of coloring. I colored in all the images and die-cut them. Once everything was ready, I simply created the cluster and adhered them to the mat layer.

Hello everyone and welcome to the Flowers & Swirls Collection release blog hop by Altenew. This release has GORGEOUS standalone dies and a pretty stamp too.
You might have come here from Erum Tasneem's blog.

Since this is going to be a long post, grab a cup of your favourite drink and enjoy :)

I have six cards for you today
For the first card I decided to use the pretty Whispy Feathers layered feathers dies along with the Artists watercolor, Tartan stamp, Label Love stamp and the Delicate Mandala die.

Next I have a couple of CAS cards, As these dies are so dainty and intricate, I wanted to focus on the dies only. I used  the Swirly Elements die here along with some crisp die inks in blues and greens.
The sentiment is from the Magnolia Ballerina stamp.

For the next card I used the Starlight die with crisp die ink and the sentiment from the Label Love stamp.

Next I have a slimline mixed media card. I used the Dainty Leaves dies along with the Broken Chevrons stencil and the sentiment from Magnolia Ballerina stamp. I also used the Artists watercolor and embossing paste here.

For the next two cards I used the Magnolia Ballerina stamp and dies in two different techniques. For this card I stamped the image onto watercolor paper using white embossing powder, added multiple colors from the Artists watercolor palette. Die-cut and adhere to a white cardbase.

Here I stamped and embossed the image using Rose Gold embossing powder onto vellum. Added some color using copic markers. Sponged the edges a bit to finish the soft look.

Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Dahlia Bright Eyes Outline Stamp Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in Total Prizes)

Hello and welcome everyone for the Paint-A-Flower: Dahlia Bright Eyes Outline stamp set release blog hop by Altenew.

You might have come here from Terri Koszler's  blog.

I created this card for you today using the Dahlia Bright Eyes stamp. To enhance the image, I created the background using alcohol inks.

I stamped the image onto copic friendly cardstock using memento black ink and then colored the image using copic markers. This is a perfect image to add color to, in many different ways.  Cut the image using a sharp pair of scissors.

I used shades of blue, green and pink alcohol inks to create the background. Adhere the image using 3d tape.

Stamp the sentiment from the Label Love stamp onto pink cardstock. Add some floss behind the sentiment stripe and adhere to the card.

Altenew Craft Your Life Project Kit: Never Stop Dreaming Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

Hello and welcome to the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Never Stop Dreaming release Blog Hop by Altenew. I love how everything is so well coordinated. The 3d embossing folder really give beautiful results and the stencils make it color easily.

You might have come here from Colleen Balija's blog.

Never stop dreaming! This stamp set features a stunning arrangement of flowers, leaves, and a sweet little bud. Color it in with your favorite mediums, with or without the help of the coordinating Simple Coloring Stencil. The sentiments offer words of encouragement and can be mixed and matched for the perfect message. Use the other elements included in the project kit to complete the look.

I have two cards for you today.
For the first card, I used the crisp dye inks to sponge some inks onto white cardstock. Now run this piece through the bigshot machine using the 3D embossing folder. Love love the details I got. Gently rub white pigment ink to this piece so the raised ares will catch the ink. Sprinkle WOW! clear sparkle embossing glitter and heat emboss. This give a beautiful glittery shine to some of the raised areas.

Stamp the sentiment onto white cardstock. Die-cut it using the shaped die. Now keeping the die in it's place sponge some inks to match the mat layer. Adhere to the card using 3d foam.

For the next card, I took a deep red card layer, sponged some midnight violet crisp and a bit of blak ink to the edges. Sponge the violet ink through the Sketched Lines Stencil. Stamp the floral image using the Platinum embossing powder. Add in the color using the stencils. Add details using the white gel pen.

Stamp and emboss the sentiment using the Platinum embossing powder. Adhere to the card using 3d foam and to finish some sequins.
