No issues, easy to purchase, very fast shipping. Only minor downsides are the need to calculate VAT yourself and somewhat hard to find products from home page. But overall very satisfied.

This review is for the service of the website and company "goodweaver.jp" after purchasing a pair of "Doek" shoes online. This is not a review of the shoes themselves.

This was probably the worst online shopping experience I have ever had.

Firstly communication was terrible throughout. I had to repeatedly follow-up emails to determine the status of the order.

Secondly, to communicate with the store and to place an order from outside of Japan it's necessary to use the contact page but no automated replies are sent to your email so you can't follow them up and there is no record of your initial item request. A separate email is sent.

Thirdly, after weeks of waiting for confirmation emails, paypal invoices to be sent etc the incorrect item was sent. When I contacted goodweaver.jp to let them know, my message was ignored and I have still not received a reply.

Lastly, goodweaver.jp have very dishonest pricing. When ordering from abroad, you are quoted a flat rate of $150USD for shoes and shipping - about 20% above the (13200 yen, $100USD) price quoted on the website and well above normal shipping costs from Japan to Hong Kong.

A thoroughly disappointing shopping experience from start to finish - not to mention I now have a pair of shoes in a colour I didn't order. I would strongly discourage anyone from purchasing Doek shoes from outside of Japan using goodweaver.jp
