Autumn mini canvas

This one is for a 1 to 1 swap, the theme is Autumn. The canvas is about 3.5 x3.5 , I have used inks and stamps to "paint " this little picture , embossed with gold round the edges then finished with an epoxy sticker and rub-on letters.

Canvas "sampler"

This "sampler" is once again inspired by a project in the Craft Stamper mag (if you have never read it you have missed out!) designed by Carol Quance.
My sampler is a bit smaller than A4 (the one in the mag was 5 x 7in) .Painted the backgound with black acrylic then stamped in silver & white & edged the board with silver embossing powder. The square (top left) is made fron a piece of thin metal, the text stamped & embossed, the "frame" created by squiggling with an embossing tool then the metal wrapped around a piece of mount board. The heart was a £1 shop find , the elephant made from utee. The tag was covered in thick gesso then "pounced" to give a hammered effect, the letters etc added whilst still wet then the surface coloured with silver rub-on wax & a black inkpad. The key is dipped in utee & stamped. The butterfly is a die-cut covered with duck tape and distressed with wire & thread wrapped round . The star is a metal tag, stamped image then covered with gloss finish, beads & wire added. Finally, the black ribbon was stamped & embossed, the buckle a junk shop find & mounted onto black gloss card. By the way - the pink is not attached to it ,was just the box it was resting on!

Collage on canvas - another oriental!

Very plain and simple this one! The background is printed onto hand made paper which gives it a soft fuzzy texture, the image added on top and the edges sponged with acrylic paint with just a smidge of glitter in it. The foremost images are highlighted with 3D gloss.

Encaustic art on canvas

Did this just to try the wax on canvas - not a great work of art but considering it was done with an encaustic iron I am not too displeased with it.
