Blinged Girlfriend

Welcome, Welcome, Welcome!

***Due to strict new tax collection requirements, they will NO LONGER ship to any country in EUROPE (incl. UK).

What's the Prize, you say? This set of dies!

And here is my project-

For my tic-tac-toe card I used the diagonal line of chocolate, the word love, and bling. I embossed a chocolate cardstock with Anna Griffins Matelasse embossing folder. The Frantic Stamper Pleated Dress die is so fun to use, and choosing patterned paper is really fun! When I added the pearls to the waistband, I rediscovered the pink rhinestone Girlfriend sentiment (unknown manufacturer) and used it as part of the sentiment. The "love you" words are from Spellbinders Layered Mix and Match Sentiments I cut out of pink scraps.

Make sure to enter out challenge for a chance to win those great dies!

What's the Prize, you say? This set of dies!

And here is my project-

Sometimes I like to have cards with no sentiments on hand. I do have a ton of sentiments made up that can be added to cards to fit any occasion that crops up. This is so easy to make and have on hand! Here is a material list-

  1. Dies: Elementals #12 Filigree Oval (Frantic Stamper), Outrageous Butterfly (Spellbinders).
  2. Cardstock: kraft, gold mirror, patterned paper (unknown).
  3. Embellishment: gold pearls (Gold Satin Baubles by Trinity Stamps).

Make sure to enter for that wonderful prize!

Cherry Blossoms

Cheapo Dies

Cheapo Dies offers a $15 gift certificate as the prize for our winner of the June challenge at Die Cut Divas, so help us celebrate all the Birthdays!

Here is my project-

Even though this is a simple card, it isn't easy choosing paper and embellishments! I thought that the cherry blossom die (mine is Darice, but Cheapo Dies has this one here) by itself was a lovely focal point. The sentiment is by Spellbinders (Sentiments One). The brown and pink cardstock contrasted well with the patterned paper (unknown) and Cinnamon Stickles added much needed sparkle.

Be sure to enter for a chance at that Cheapo Dies prize!

It's magical!

Hello! This month at Die Cut Diva's our sponsor is-

Our theme for the month is an inspiration photo-

Here is my project:

I really liked how my watercolored background turned out. I used Friskit masking fluid and my fingertip to make the circles for the fireflies, and I used an old toothbrush and Frisket to make a Milky Way in the sky. After the Friskit was dry, I added the Brushos (Emerald for the ground, Black, Purple and Dark Blue for the sky). After everything was dry I rubbed off the Friskit, and colored the " fireflies" with Lemon and Orange Brusho's.

Here is a list of materials:
  1. Image: Holding Fireflies by A Day for Daisies, colored with Copics, with Wink of Stella on wings.
  2. Die: Spellbinders Star Circles.
  3. Sentiment: Unity Stamp Co. (...and for a moment), Versafine ink.
  4. Paper: white cs (Neenah), Midnight blue shimmer paper (Wausau), Strathmore watercolor paper (using Friskit and Brushos).
  5. Button: white star button from stash.
Thank you for visiting!

I'm also entering this at Classic Design Team Challenge.

Die Cut Diva's say goodbye March

Can you believe its the last day of March? I probably should be wearing rain boots right now-we've had so much rain that I can't work in my yard because of all the mud!

We want to thank our wonderful sponsors for the month-

Here is my project-

I used MFT Stitched Rectangles (You can also use Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangles), Spellbinders Daisy Toppers (or Sue Wilsons Delicate Daisies). The image is Bugaboo's Ava Flower Patch, which is colored with Prismacolor pencils. The button is Studio G, the yellow dots are Stickles, and the sentiment is from Stampendous. Paper is from my stash, so source is unknown.

Thanks for visiting!

Die Cut Diva's Spring Challenge

This month Die Cut Diva's are sponsored by:

and by

This beautiful image from Bugaboo Stamps is called Rose Tag, and is colored with Copic markers. I used Labels Fifteen by Spellbinders (But this die by Bo-Bunny would work just as well) to frame the image, and used Fancy Labels Two by Spellbinders for the sentiment. The stamp set is one I got when I first got into stamping many moons ago, before I learned to write on the plastic who made them! I used white scrap cardstock for the sentiment, and Creative Memories paper for the background. The bow was made with Offray sheer ribbon.

My mom passed away last year, and lavender roses were some of her favorite. For you, Mom.

Thanks so much for visiting!

I'm also entering this at Catch the bug Anything Goes Challenge.
