Den Hintergrund für diese Karte hab ich mit Ink-Smooshing gestaltet. Laura Bassen zeigte am Tag-4 mehrere verschiedene Arten, mit dieser Technik Farbe aufs Papier zu bringen.

Über die Karte:

Hier hab ich das Ink-Smooshing direkt auf meiner Arbeits-Unterlage gemacht. Tinte + Wasser + Papier.
Nach dem Trocknen einen "Farbkreis" zugeschnitten, dazu einen kleineren Kreis aus Vellum.  Auf demhab ich dann das in sehr zarten Farben colorierte Gorjuss-Mädel platziert hab. Bbei meiner Farb-Wahl spielte die englische Bedeutung der Farbe Blau - "feeeling blue" = "traurig sein" mit rein... Hab mich dann aber doch für einen deutschen Text-Stempel entschieden... passt daher also nicht mehr ganz perfekt, ist aber vielleicht doch eine nette Zusatzinformation für euch. - Perfekt für eine Aufmunterungs-Karte geeignet (und auch für den bunten Smooshing-Hintergrund), wie ich finde.
Ja, ich hab mich früher eine Zeit lang viel mit dem Thema "Farben und ihre Bedeutung in den verschiedenen Epochen und Kulturen" beschäftigt... War ziemlich interessant!

About this card:

I practiced the ink-smooshing direct on my craft-mat. Ink + water + paper.
After it was dry, I cut a "colorcircle" and an additional smaller one of Vellum. There I placed the colored Gorjuss-girl I've colored in tender colors. The choice of the colors was influenced from the meaning... In English feeling blue = feeling sad (in German "I feel blue" is for "I drunk alcohol"). Later I decided to use a German sentiment, so this color-choice is less important, but maybe good to know for you.- I think that's perfect for an encouragement-card (and also for the busy smooshing-background)
Yes, years back I was really interested in the theme "Colors and their meaning in different ages and cultures"... It was really interesting!

Ich habe aus den "Resten" des letzten gestanzten Kleeblatts noch ein weiteres gemacht und passend dazu einen motivierenden Spruch gestempelt und etwas Gold hinzugefügt.
Pergamentpapier mit Heat-embossing sieht einfach immer gut aus!
Muß zugeben, dass mich das Befestigen des Vellums bei dieser Karte heute fast zum Verzweifeln gebracht hat - Warum? Wenn ich das wüsste! Die 3D-Pads wollten einfach nicht kleben! - *Jammer-Modus Ende*

I made another happy clover out of the rests of the last one, added a motivating sentiment and some gold.
I love the look of heat-embossed vellum!
I need to tell you I was desperatet by adding the vellum onto the card today! - Why? - I still don't know why the 3D-Pads didn't stuck! - *End of moaning-mode*

Die Idee hinter dieser Karte ODER was ich mir beim Basteln so dazu gedacht habe:
Der vierblättrige Klee ist ja bei uns (wie an vielen Stellen der Welt) ein Glücks-Symbol (=Glücksklee).
Grün ist die Farbe der Hoffnung uns des Neuanfangs. - Ideal für anstehende Prüfungen (z.B. Abitur, ...)
Die Farb-Kombination grün & gold wirkt edel und "wertig". InVerbindung mit dem ganzen Schimmer & Glitter sogar noch etwas mehr...
Ich fand die Idee toll, das Gold in so vielen verschiedenen Materialien zu verwenden - Embossing-Pulver, Glimmer Mist-Spray, Glitzerkleber und Pailletten!

Idea behind the card OR some thoughts I had while I was crafting:
In Germany the lucky clover (trefoils with four leaves) is a symbol for luck too.
Green is the color of hope and the new beginning. -> Perfect for upcoming examinations (like school leaving examinations, ...)
The color-combination of green & gold is noble and significant. In touch with all the shimmer and glimmer even more...
I loved to use the gold in such a big variety - embossing powder, glimmer mist-spray, glitter glue and sequins!

Vor einigen Tagen hab ich einige neue Embossingpulver-Farben bekommen, nun sind meine Regenbogen-Farben (fast) komplett. In Kombination mit dem tollen Regentropfen-Hintergrundstempel einfach klasse!
In real sieht man die erhabenen farbigen Stellen noch deutlicher als hier auf den bildern.

Some days ago I recived some new colors of empossing powder, now my rainbow-color-collection is (nearly) complete. The combination with this great raindrop-background-stamp is awesome!
In reality you can see the embossed and colored parts better than on the pics.
