Trick-or-Treat

Hello again! It's Laurie sharing another cute ghost from the NEW Halloween ghost stamp set.

I did a fun little corner fold on a piece of  Kelly Panacci Halloween mat pad from K&Company. I found a piece of cardstock in my stash that closely match the skeleton paper and colored the ghost using Copic markers.

I had this string of bat ribbon in my stash, so I cut one off and stuck it to the trick-or-treat sentiment tag. The spider is a brad that I picked up at my local stamp store ages ago.

I have one last card to share next week - stay tuned!

Get well soon!

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is to use a tag on your card.

I used a stencil from the crafter workshop to stencil on the fern, cut it out with a stitched tag die and added the RI sentiment.  Popped it up on the green cardstock using foam tape.

There's a new challenge every week over at  The House That Stamps Built, and you don't have to use Repeat Impressions stamps to link up or win. Also, for my blog readers: Enjoy the 10% discount code to the Repeat Impressions Store posted on the sidebar.

One lucky person will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate on the first Wednesday of every month – Good luck!

Also, check out our Rock Star blogs to see what they did with the challenge.

Hello

Hi everyone. I'm sharing a favorite image from repeat impression that I colored a while ago and reworked for this new card today.

The old card had a very dark purple card base and the image kind of got lost. I added a few more layers of white to the mix this time around and it brightened things up tremendously. I used Copic's to color the image.

Stitched rectangle dies used and the purple cardstock is from Bazzill and PTI. The hello die is from Sunny Studio and it's cut three times and layered up.

It was fun to look through all my old cards and see how I could make them different and/or better with fresh eyes.

Have a great day!

Thinking of you

Hello all - Playing in the sketch challenge over at Sunday Stamps today.

I was inspired by the wonderful designer paper from the Hello Beautiful card pack from Piatek Trzynastego.

The center cherry blossom stamps are from Penny Black and the sentiment is from WPlus9. I used the circle cut out die from PTI and then framed it in the green cardstock I used to layer the dp. I just stuck two circle dies together and taped them together to get the ring.  Colored the cherry blossoms with Copic's. I used Neenah Solar White cardstock and made this a top folding card.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you're staying sane and safe in the world.

Fall Thanks

Hello. Playing with the Freshly Made Sketch #200 for the 400 sketch celebration this month.

I seem to be in a fall state of mind. The leaves are already starting to change in my area (due to lack of water) and I can't wait for the cooler weather.

I used distress oxide inks and a stencil from a colorful life designs called leaf set 1. I cut it apart for the line break in the sketch and added a few dew drops to finish it off. Thanks sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp. Card base is a dark green from Bazzill.

Thanks for stopping by.

Many thanks

Hi there - Playing in the TGIF sketch challenge today. Here is what I came up with.

Leaf stamps are from Close To My Heart called Autumn Splendor - I'm sure they're retired by now, I've had them forever. I used Hero Arts and Altenew mini inks to mix the colors on the stamps (rock and roll technique) before stamping. Sentiment is from Altenew.

When cleaning out my dies, I came across a purple cover plate that had these gorgeous leaves on it. That is the debossing you see on the white background panel. I also found a mini thumb punch of a maple leaf and used it on different colored cardstock scraps.

Fun sketch! Thanks for stopping by!

Get well soon - Color challenge #272

Hello - it's color week over at CAS Colours & Sketches.

I had to dig around in my stash of papers to come up with colors that went with the graphic above. My yellow is a bit bright, but at least its cheerful. Stamps and dies are from Avery Elle. Stitched tag die is from My Favorite Things.

Inks: Fresh pigment ink in Pear, Cheerful ink from Versafine Clair (really, that's what it's called). That embossing folder, I think it came free with a stamping magazine I purchased a while ago.  Anyway, I stamped a few flowers on the inside of the card as well.

I made a second card for this color combo because I goofed and did two get well cards. I decided to leave the first one, but here is the second.

The flower die is from Simon Says Stamp - it's in their envelop die set. I just lined it up three times and then taped strips of coordinating cardstock behind it. Fabrika Decoru white enamel used for the flower centers. Sentiment is from Inspired by Stamping.

Thanks for stopping in!

Fall thank you

Hello!

It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week is Designers Choice and we are challenged by Patti to create a "count your blessings" card. So any thank you, thanks, blessing, etc. will work.

I used the Oak leaf stamp and stamped it ink from Hero Arts in fall colors. Used my Scan N Cut to cut them out and fanned the into a little bouquet. The "Thank you" are dies from Sizzix. I used Stick It! adhesive on the darker brown cardstock before running it through my die cut machine. This stuff works so very well when adding die cuts onto cards. Love it.

Added a cute jute bow onto the leaf bouquet to finish off the card.

So, what are you waiting for?!

Why not play along with us and start stamping up a card now. We can’t wait to see your creations!

color challenge

Hi everyone! It's color challenge time over at Repeat Impressions.

Here is what I did with it.

I used the sentiment from the unmounted plate 8600.

The oval Hydrangeas are here.
I stamped the Hydrangea in Intense black ink from SSS and then colored with Copic's. Added a bit of sparkle (wink of Stella) on the bee's wings to that they appeared real.  Then I fussy cut this out.

Blue designer paper is Swiss dot from Bazzill. The navy and yellow are from PTI.

I hope you have a chance to play along with our color challenge. Don't forget that One lucky person will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate!

Tank you

OK, I'm back again today with another challenge card. Simon Says Stamps Wednesday challenge is to create a card with critters on it, and use Lawn Fawn stamps if you have them. Well, the Fintastic Friends stamp set is the first one I came across in my stash of stamps and here is what I did with it.

Colored with Copic's, fussy cut out and popped up with foam tape.

I believe the turquoise cardstock is from Bazzill, as it's been in my stash for a long time. I really like how well it matched the water in the tank.

I'm not sure if fish qualify as "critters" but I'm going for it anyway. Kept this clean and simple and love how it turned out.

Thanks for stopping by.
