A Naughty Little Christmas Card

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Happy Christmas Eve!

Today I am sharing the card I made for my husband. I thought it would be cute to make it a little naughty!

I really enjoyed making this card.

I cut the lingerie from the Sweethearts Cricut cartridge. I hot glued some red tulle to the bodice before I add the top layer. My cardstock was textured and I thought it worked perfectly.

I added a bow of Maraschino Bakers Twine.

I hand cut the tag and stamped it with Scrappy Moms Stamps "Christmas Cheer!"

I used a Martha Stewart punch to create my mistletoe and add more baker's twine and a little red bling.

My paper is from Carta Bella.

I am sure my husband is going to love this when I give it to him!

I am taking the rest of the week off from blogging to spend time with my wonderful family. I will be back January 1st with the next Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge.

Have a safe and Happy Christmas, my friends!

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

"Kiss Me" Treat Bags

If you are looking for the "Share the Love" Cricut Crawl click HERE.

Hi Everyone! This is just a quick post to share a super quick treat bag I put together. I couldn't resist the little frog from the Sweethearts cartridge and wanted to use him with this sentiment fom 40:31 Creations Love stamp set.
A little close up for ya!
I did a little inking and added some googly eyes. These were the smallest I had. I really wanted to use 2 different sizes but the next size I had were too big.

Hope you all have a great day! Happy Crafting!

Valentine's Day is in a week and everyone at Fantabulous Cricut has decided to Share the Love! Each Design Team member will be featuring an original Valentine-themed project that includes the word LOVE somewhere on it.

How fun is that?

For my project I created a banner. I have been wanting to make a banner for quite a while and I thought this was the perfect opportunity.

To make this banner I used the following:
Chipboard i.e. cereal boxes
Cricut Cartriges ~ Birithday Bash, background ~ Country Life, letters, this cartridge doesnt have a shadow feature for the letters so I just off set my letters to give it a shadow effect ~ Sweethearts, cupid and layers
Valentine Buttons
40:31 Creations ~ Love stamps
Patterned cardstock ~ Paper Studio
Colorbox Pigment Ink ~ cranberry
Tulle
Foam tape, Pop Dots, Atg

Always & Forever

Happy Saturday, my Crafty Friends!

I feel like I have been away forever. It's been a busy week. I have been crafting but it has been design team stuff so you will have to wait to see that. :)

This morning I finally got around to doing the Peachy Keen Sketch Challenge #44 with a Twist! The twist is that the project needs to be monochromatic. Here is what I designed.
This card is 5 x 5 inches.
Here is what I used:
Cardstock ~ Recollections and DCWV
Cricut Cartridge ~ Sweethearts, cupid and all his layers and I designed a heart border on my Gypsyusing hearts found on this cartridge.
40:31 Creations ~ Love stamps
Ranger Distress Ink ~ Aged Mahogany
Cuttlebug ~ Heart Blocks embossing folder
White Gelly Roll Pen
Foam Tape, Zig, and ATG

It's been raining like crazy here so lighting is not that great for taking pictures. Hope you all are enjoying your weekend.

Happy Crafting!

You Had Me at Hello

Happy Saturday, Crafty Friends!

Today's card is for the Scrappy Mom's Terrific Tuesdays cartridge challenge. This week's challenge is to use the Sweethearts cartridge. This came together quickly. I like that it is not so cutesy. I tend to make a lot of those types of cards, which, don't get me wrong, I love to make cutesy cards. It's just nice to do something a little more sophisticated. :)
This is a 4.25 x 5.5 inch card.
Here is what I used:
Cricut Cartridges ~ Sweethearts for the couple and Twinkle Toes for the label
40:31 Creations ~ Love stamps
Fiscars Punch
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder ~ Swiss Dots
American Crafts Ribbon
Flowers
Pearl Bling
Foam tape, Glue Dots, and ATG

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Crafting!

Heart Shaped Valentine

If you are looking for the Hello Kitty Blog Hop chick HERE.

Good Morning Everyone! Thank you so much for stopping by today. I appreciate all the sweet, sweet comments and support.

Did you know that Emma at My Creative Time has her first Throwback Thursday challenge of the New Year going on right now? If you have never participated in Emma's challenges, you should really give it a try. This weeks's Throwback Thursday challenge is to use any cartridge you would like but you must include a heart in your design. I chose to make a heart shaped card.
Here is what I used to make this card:
Cricut Cartridge ~ Sweethearts
Gypsy ~ I welded 2 of the shadow heart shapes together at the top. I believe I sized these at 5.25 in.
Cardstock ~ Recolections
White and black Gelly Roll Pens
Valentine Ribbon ~ I believe I picked this up at WalMart last year
Foam Tape ~ I popped up the circle shape.

There you have it! It was a pretty quick card to put together. Thanks for stopping by today.

Happy Crafting!

The Key To My Heart

Good Afternoon Bloggies!
I made a card for my husband today. He had to make a hard decision that affected our family and although I had a hard time with it, I absolutely know it was the right decision. I'm going to slip this into his lunch box tomorrow. I did 2 new things on this card that I have never done before; heat embossing and real stitching with my sewing machine.
I am submitting this card on the Cooking With Cricut blog. The challenge this week is all about LOVE. This is the first challenge for this blog. It is full of inspiration and tutorials. I'm also submitting this on the Cricut Couple blog. It's their anniversary, so they are celebrating with and Anniversary challenge.

Here are the details for my card:
Card size is 4.25 x 5.5 inches
Cricut Cartridge ~ Sweethearts ~ all my cuts are from this cartridge. I welded the stamp image in my Gypsy to create the card base. The red mat is just a 1/4 of an inch smaller. I then cut the white mat with my Fiscars papercutter 1/4 of an inch smaller. The lock and key, I believe, were cut at 2.5 inches.
Solid Cardstock ~ Recollections
Cuttlebug ~ Heart Blocks embossing folder
Ranger Perfect Medium
Clear embossing powder
Ribbon ~ Hobby Lobby
Heart brad ~ I just pulled the prongs off and adheared it with glue dots
Cat's Eye Ink ~ Black
Sewing machine ~ I used black thread and then red thread for the stitching.
Sentiment ~ Computer generated

That's it! I am pleased with the way it came out and hope that it makes my husband know how much I love him.

Happy crafting!
