"20 SOMETHING" is a comedy web series that delves into the lives of three 20-something-year-old women, as they navigate the trials and tribulations of womanhood while living in the vibrant city of Toronto.
Diverlus is an emerging writer and director. Born in Florida, her love of art blossomed amongst a large family of many artists. Most recently, her work has been featured in Breakthroughs Film Festival and St. John’s International Women’s Festival, in addition to working for recognized production networks as Telefilm and the Canadian Film Centre. With her thick Haitian roots, Nelie wishes to revolutionize cinema in ways that spark creativity and hope within the artist in all of us.
McKenzie is a Toronto based actress and producer who makes it her mission to create and uplift stories that people can be inspired by. Shani’s most known work can be found on CBC Gem in collaboration with Being Black In Canada's 2020 cohort. Shani has been working on various film sets since her documentary and had as partook in the OYA Emerging Black Filmmakers program in which she was the lead producer for the narrative film, "The Moongazer". Being a recent graduate from Toronto Metropolitan University for film studies, Shani’s limitless potential in the film industry is just starting.

is a Toronto-based emerging visual solution provider through photography and cinematography, born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. He is widely read, with a Bachelor’s in Economics and Master’s in Media and Communication. He started his creative journey in photography in 2014 after graduating. In 2019, after working with one of the leading creative advertising agencies and freelancing in Nigeria, he decided to move to Toronto, Canada, following his passion for filmmaking. In 2021, he graduated from the Toronto Film School - Film Production program and is completing a Bachelor in Creative Arts at Yorkville University.
He loves bringing visions to life through film and photography, and he is on a mission to create experiences that allow him to capture memorable moments and the essence of my subjects’ personalities. He is interested in creating intimate and timeless images, regardless of the medium. In his spare time, he loves listening to music, discussing films and recently picked up playing basketball.
