And now to show you the Card I created for this Challenge.

This little man is called "Casual Boy" and you will find him here, I printed him onto white card then coloured him with my copic pens, afterwards I used a rectangle die to cut him out, then used a larger one and black card for the mount.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of black card and the paper I have used is also from the same image set "Casual Boy" and you will find it here, and then on top I placed my mounted image towards the left, I cut out the leave scrolls and laid them down the right hand side
and then on top I placed my sentiment which was typed on my computer and printed and placed on another piece of black card to mount it.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Birthday Card" Challenge.

The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pale green pearlescent card, then on top I have used the backing papers that came with the image and I have printed several pages and then layered them up, but before I actually did this I used a Tim Holtz distressing tool on the edges to distress them.

Good Morning Crafters, oh wow its certainly been hot here in Gloucestershire and my poor husband is finding it a trial, hes not good with it, and my poor dog is also finding it difficult but I dont mind much prefer it to the cold for sure. Anyway this weeks Challenge over on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot is all about a "Clean and Simple" design and I hope that you wont find it to difficult to create a card with it.

And now I want to show you what I have created for the Challenge.
The image I have used for my card is "I Win" you will find her here, and I have printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I cut her out completely. I then used some of the fawn card and a Cheery Lynn "Swedish Spring" die created a mount for her to be placed on. The sentiment is one from my stash and has also been stamped onto a piece of white card then mounted on a ribbon slider. I then threaded it with a piece of blue ribbon ready to stick to the card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of the same fawn card, the paper is the one that came with the image and I have mounted it onto the first mount. I then cut some swirls and stuck them around the top two corners and stuck the mounted image towards the top. I then wrapped the ribbon with the sentiment around the first mount and stuck it to the back.
To finish of I have used several roses of various creams and stuck them on top of the leave swirls (stash item) down the top two sides.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration, and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Clean and Simple" Challenge.

Challenge #107 - The Paper Shelter - "Spring Delights"

Good Morning Crafters, when is Spring going to start, my garden has some crocus out and a few daffodils in but its so depressing as normally at this time of the year more green would be showing on our bushes and trees, but here in Gloucestershire everything seems to be on hold I do hope it soon warms up and starts to feel warmer, lets hope it wont be long.
Anyway todays Challenge over at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot is I hope the start of this process as we want to see some "Spring Delights" on your cards, colour, image and even hopefully some flowers and as usual our very generous sponsors are Veronica and Pedro from The Paper Shelter and they are offering you a fabulous prize of $30.
And this is providing you have used one of their images on your card, but even if you havent they are still going to give you three images of your own choice. And now here is my card for this weeks Challenge I hope you like it.

Isnt she cute and this image is called "Enchanted Love" and you will find her here, Ive printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I have used Nestabilitie Die No.7 to cut her out then drawn around the die to create the mount. The sentiment is one of my stash and its been then stamped onto a white card and cut out with a tag die, and I have created the mount in the same way as the image's mount by drawing around the die and then cutting out.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, and papers I have used are from The Paper Shelters "Zoe's Spring Papers" quite appropriate and you will find them here. I have then placed a very pretty pink one for my first mount is has flowers all around the edge of it, then used a green paper and a large doily die from Create, and placed it on top in the center.
The mounted image was then placed towards the top left hand corner and the tag sentiment tucked behind it at the top on the right. I then used several swirl dies on some green card and also used a Joy die to create the leaf sprays and created a corner at the bottom on the right hand side. Afterwards I used several rolled flower dies to create the flowers, then placed them at different places in different sizes along the whole length of the spray.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and visit The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this weeks "Spring Delights" Challenge.

A Card for Magnolia Challenges

Good Afternoon All, well the sun is out and theres a lovely breeze here in Gloucestershire, mind you its still hot and our dog is feeling it just as much. Anyway todays card has been made for this weeks Magnolia "In the Country" Challenge and any other one I can find. Ive used this sweet Tilda image carrying a bunch of flowers, not sure what they are meant to be, probably hellibores but I wouldnt depend on that. Ive coloured it with my copics then cut it out with my square Nestabilitie Die, then used with some lilac card a Heart Square from Spellbinders. The sentiment is one from my stash and has also been mounted on some lilac card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card, but Ive also cut a 8" square then used the larger Martha Stewart Border and Corner punches to create a mount for the smaller one, the papers I have used are from Nitwits "Oh the Possibilities" digi paper set. Its all shades of pink and lilac and Ive used several papers, the main one under the mount is one with lilac punches on and the rest I used on the rolled flower in the top left hand corner.
Ive used a large piece of Cobweb ribbon around the card, then on top I have placed a lavender satin ribbon which was attached to the back of the first mount, I then cut a Cheery Lynn doily and tucked it under the ribbon in the bottom left hand corner. The mounted image was then positioned to the right and the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side. Ive also cut a flower with a Memory Box die and this was stuck in the bottom left hand corner. To finish of Ive used several of the left over papers to create the rolled flower in the top left corner and this was stuck to the card with some punched out leaves on some silicone glue.

Good Morning All, I do hope your enjoying the drier weather, I certainly took advantage of it on Saturday and shampooed all my carpets, luckily most of them did'nt take to long to dry and they do look a lot cleaner to. I have also used a Lili of the Valley image which I have stamped then coloured with my copic pens before cutting it out completely and positioning if on top of a Cheery Lynn Heart Die shape.
And before placing my image in the centre I wrapped a piece of binding tape around the middle and stuck it to the back of the first mount.
The sentiment is one from my stash thats been stamped onto a piece of white card then mounted on pink and positioned at the bottom on the right. Ive also used a swirl of pearls in the bottom left and top right corners, and for the final flourish I used another of the Cheery Lynn Flower dies then I layered it up and positioned in the top left hand corner and stuck it to the card with silicone glue on top of several leaves that were also cut using yet more of the Cheery Lynn dies.

I have used this Bildmalarna image isnt she cute, Ive stamped her onto white card then used my oval die to cut her out, then used a ink pad around the edge to distress it. I then cut a Floral Oval Die from Cheery Lynn and stuck some lace around the edge before sticking my image to it.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a paper from Donna's "Petunia Parade" Digi paper set, you will find them here. I then positioned my mounted image towards the right with the sentiment at the bottom on the left hand side.
To finish of I have created a floral spray in the top left hand corner with a couple of different sized roses and some punched out leaves and a pearl spray.
Now youve seen my card I do hope you will go and visit the Bearlymine Designs Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the girls have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will also want to take part in this "Pearls and Lace" Challenge.

Bearlymine Designs 41st Challenge - "Anything Goes"

Good Morning All, I hope your surprised as we are that weve all ready reached our 41st Challenge over on the Bearlymine Designs Challenge Blogspot and for this one its a real favourite one of all of us, and that is "Anything Goes" and this time we are being sponsered by Saturated Canary.

So Im sure you will to take part in the hope of winning two of their gorgeous images, and we were lucky enough to have had some beautiful images to play with and I chose this one for my card.

And I used "Lolita" and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card and used my copic pens to colour and then used a square Nestabilitie die to cut her out, and the Fleur dis Lea square for the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash and has been treated in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, and the papers I have used are Donna's "Floral Breeze" digi papers from the Bearlymine Designs paper set, you will find them here. They are beautiful papers and I have this gorgeous one for the first mount and then on top I have used a doily which I cut out with a Cheery Lyn Die, then around the middle is a strip of blue net ribbon and attached to the back of the first mount.
To finish of I have used several sized roses and some extra flowers and stuck these to the card with silicone glue on top of some punched out rose leaves.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and visit The Bearlymine Designs Challenge Blogspot and see the rest of the very talented team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to also take part in this weeks "Anything Goes" Challenge.

And now you I will show you my card I created for this Challenge,

and for my card I have used "Bath Team" and you will find it here, I have printed it onto white card and coloured it with my copic pens, afterwards I used my square Nestabilitie die to cut it out, then created a larger one for the mount. The sentiment is one I found on the internet and printed it onto white card and mounted it onto a piece of the same green card.
The base card is 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of green card, the paper is one of two from "Sweet Gardener" design papers and your will find them here, then on top I have used a second one and one of my Cheery Lynn Pastry dies then used a piece of the same green card and one of my cuttlebug folders then placed it on top of the first mount. Ive also used a piece of muslin under the mounted image that was placed in the centre with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side.
I then created three flowers with yet more of the papers from the same digi paper set, and stuck them in the top left hand corner on some punched out rose leaves. The final flourish is the three pearls stuck at the bottom on the left hand corner.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and visit The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you also will take part in this "Great Outdoors" Challenge.
