SHIPPING POLICY

NONNA RANDAZZO’S BAKERY AND OUR SHIPPING PROVIDER DO NOT RESHIP/REFUND DUE TO INCELMENT WEATHER DELAYS. 

WE DO NOT RESHIP/REFUND DUE TO INCORRECT ADDRESSES PROVIDED BY THE PURCHASER. 

While Nonna Randazzo’s King Cakes and our shipping provider strive to ensure overnight delivery, unforeseen circumstances may result in delivery on the second day.

If a cake is forwarded due to the wrong address, additional charges of $21.00 will be billed to the customer’s credit card.


Once a delivery has been attempted (a call tag left) delays resulting from setting up a second delivery attempt or pick-up are not covered. 


If Nonna Randazzo’s Bakery or our shipping provider is at fault for a failed delivery (other than a weather delay), we will reship your cake on the next available regular shipping date.


We offer two options for delays resulting from the shipping company:
1)  Refund shipping charges if you wish to keep the cake or
2) Cake reshipped if you wish to return the delayed cake.


Damage & unsuccessful deliveries are not common – ONLY 1 – 1.5 % claims are processed per season from all of the cakes that we ship. 


If the cake is damaged in shipping, we will gladly process a damage claim.  Claims must be made within 5 days of receipt.  The shipping company may require that the damaged cake, box & all items included in package be picked up for inspection; so please do not discard the box, cake or any of its contents.  Photos of damaged cake and packaging are required for filing claims and should be forwarded to our shipping department—shipping@nonnarandazzos.com--to expedite the completion of your claim.


Packages left at the door – sometimes a shipper will leave the package at the door if they determine it is safe. 


Apartments, Condos, Military Bases, Dormitories, Hotels, Hospitals – shipments are usually directed to a complex office or receiving department which may result in delays.  We recommend letting the recipient know they will be receiving a package so they can be on the look-out for it.  No refunds are given due to this delay.

Deliveries to extended delivery areas are not guaranteed and additional charges will be billed.

We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses

International deliveries are not guaranteed.  Additional charges apply and you must call this order into our shipping department at 985-214-8600, Monday – Friday 8 am til 4 pm during king cake season.

King Cakes are perishable food items and therefore cannot be returned.
Additional questions or problems may be directed to our shipping department and will be handled on individual basis according to our store policy.

If your king cake doesn't have a baby inside, we apologize for our human error. We will not be able to ship another king cake for this mistake. Please accept our apologies.
