Very quick response
Very quick response. Understood exactly what the problem was and sorted it out instantly. Shame the 2 octopus engineers who came to install and replace the units failed to understand the problem or sort the issue. Seems to be a lack of training or experience.

An excellent charger but there is a small flaw
Installation of the charger was excellent but after 3 months of trouble free use have discovered a significant issue. For the most part it won't impact many people but it should be addressed by Hypervolt to avoid this potentail issue. Access to the charger is solely by an app which relies on an internet connection. For the majority of the time this is fine but if you have locked the charger and internet access isn't available and you're in dire need of a charge at home, then tough. Wir=thout the internet you are simply no able to unlock the charger whatsoever. Just hope you're not too far away from a public charger or somewhere you can connect to the internet. Better still Hypervolt should provide some sort of access to turn off the lock which doesn't rely on the internet.

HyperVolt Home3Pro Great Charger
Well I’ve had experience with two different brands of chargers Indra and Andersen.
So why choose HyperVolt and the Home3Pro?
After annoying there technical team with questions that they seemed happy to answer like load balancing and what happens if you lose internet or wifi during a schedule charge, well as long as you have internet prior and its been sent to the charger it will keep the times you’ve set and does not need the mothership to synchronise the internal clock at that point.
I believe it has an internal battery but think 🤔 I’ll test it by cutting the power and then reenergising it to see unless HyperVolt want to answer that question here?
The charger is very feature packed and the Ethernet port is golden as I prefer a hardwired connection over WiFi any day but as it some what stores times in the charger itself it does mitigate it some what, but it would bug me if I couldn’t see what was going on in the app.
Let’s talk about the app it’s really polished with good visuals HyperVolt really done good here, seems reliable I’ve not had it for that long though all lighting controls available brightness and no lights mode as well if you don’t want to So Shiny ;)
Phone service? When ever I rang it would always say 5mins but it was always answered well before that time so that was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Electric car charger
Unable to charge car overnight. Contacted installer, referred to Hypervolt. They resolved the issue within hours, then checked to see if all was ok. No messing about with machines answering calls. Was treated courteously. Relieved and impressed. Good firm to deal with.

Extremely disappointing and frustrating…
Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience.
I arranged an EV charger installation well in advance and even took a day off work to be at home for the appointment. The electrician attended as scheduled, only to inform me that the charger itself had not been delivered. As a result, the installation could not go ahead, and my time off work was completely wasted.
The situation was made worse by how the matter was handled afterwards. I was told that the issue was somehow my fault because a payment link had allegedly been sent. This is not accurate. The only link I initially received showed as cancelled, and I had to repeatedly follow up to obtain a valid payment link. I was asked to wait 30 minutes for it to be resent, which was not possible due to a work meeting. I then specifically requested that the link be sent on the Friday — two weeks ahead of the installation — but it was never sent. Once again, I had to chase this myself.
Despite these issues, the company is now refusing to take responsibility and has stated that they are “within their rights”. This is extremely frustrating given the clear lack of organisation, communication, and accountability throughout the process.
Overall, the experience has involved poor coordination, unnecessary inconvenience, and a complete waste of my time. Based on this experience, I would not recommend the service. Sales person name starting with Kunal and manager name starting with N.
Adding on to this review, since then the manager N has called me and said she will get back to me in 5 mins and its been 1.5hrs since and I'm still awaiting her call.

Excellent customer service and experience from the team. My charger had developed a fault and a replacement was delivered and installed the first week after the fault was diagnosed.
Change of network provider
I'd changed my network provider and was unable connect ev-charger to new wifi . My call was swiftly answered and the problem promptly resolved.
Really good customer service
Really good customer service. Issue reported by email at the weekend, contacted very quickly for fuller information at the start of the week. Issue sorted remotely by their engineers on Tuesday.
Failed 6 weeks after the 3 year…
Failed 6 weeks after the 3 year guarantee ran out! Now randomly charges as the timer can't be set, sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. We've reached out to Hypervolt for help but as it's out of warranty they say its down to us. I would have expected such an expensive unit that was professionally installed to last longer. Great while it lasted!
