Ike's Art facebook group have a progressive challenge going and this month [yes I'm actually just in time to not only share it in the group but blog it too] it's this gorgeous tea party image.
WOW I absolutely love this challenge at Ikes World Challenges the colours really lend themselves to both Autumn and Halloween. So I've combined them both with some spooktacular images that can be found at Ikes Art Store I've used the cuckoo style clock along with skelly friends skulls, a ghost, Howleen, and a spider woman along with the witch and skull caudlron to create this page. Oh and my back paper is a skull cup backing paper from Ike too. The quote is my own and reads: "As autumn takes hold with it's glorious spectrum of colours so thoughts turn to Wiccans and the incarntations that command evil and ghosts roaming free to destroy crops". This is my first post for One Stitch At A Time {I’m am so honoured to be allowed to cover for Nataliya whilst she takes a holiday} and I wanted it to say something about me as well as the theme for the challenge. The theme this fortnight as One Stitch at a time is anything goes with special lady. Now I have a few of those in my life, however recently one person has shown me just what a special lady they are through helping me when things got tough. I send her happy mail a lot and she gets a special birthday card but when it comes to Christmas…the sheer number of cards to be made and sent at the same time means she generally gets a boring handmade card. I saw the OSAAT challenge theme as a good way to show her how special I think she is at Christmas. I’ve chosen to use the pilbury snoboy image because the snowman is baking and I love to bake and share cakes {because I’m not that fussed about eating cakes}. It also shows how I’d love to bake fo...
Christmas in June feels late to me, I normally start prepping for Christmas around New Year’s Eve! When I first saw this image the first thing I thought of was to print it as large as possible and decorate it as a cone angel I used to make as a child. Then I calmed down and thought about it and decided to go with a scrap page…the only minor problem is I can’t seem to stop singing Angels from the realms of glory now! Okay I’ll stop waffling now but I have some questions later if You would be so kind as to point me in the right direction please? This is to be entered in to Ike's Challenge To make this page I used: Gold Glitter Iridescent Gold H2Os Gold H2O’s Silver and gold mirri card Christmas cuttlebug embossing folder Mini tiny mini beads Ribbon I printed cut to size and glued together in the weird shape my Christmas angel and tree photos, then matted them on silver mirri card. I used the cuttlebu...
