Weylus turns your tablet or smart phone into a graphic tablet/touch screen for your computer! No apps except a modern browser (Firefox 80+, iOS/iPadOS 13+) are required on your tablet. Start Weylus, preferably set an access code in the access code box and press the Start button. This will start a webserver running on your computer. To control your computer with your tablet you need to open the url http://<address of your computer>:<port set in the menu, default is 1701>, if possible Weylus will display to you the url you need to open and show a QR code with the encoded address. If you have a firewall running make sure to open a TCP port for the webserver (1701 by default) and the websocket connection (9001 by default).

    BoringSSL

    BoringSSL

    Mirror of BoringSSL

BoringSSL is a Google-maintained fork of OpenSSL, designed specifically to meet the security, performance, and maintainability needs of Google’s infrastructure and products. While fully open source, BoringSSL is not intended for general public use — it serves as a streamlined, heavily modified SSL/TLS and cryptography library optimized for Google’s internal ecosystem, including Chrome/Chromium, Android, and other Google services. The project prioritizes security, simplicity, and maintainability over backward compatibility. Unlike OpenSSL, BoringSSL provides no guarantee of stable APIs or ABIs, meaning third-party projects depending on it may frequently break. Google products that use BoringSSL ship their own copies and update them as needed, enabling faster iteration without legacy constraints. BoringSSL includes comprehensive API documentation, build instructions, and guidance for porting code from OpenSSL.

    BoringTun

    BoringTun

    Userspace WireGuard Implementation in Rust

BoringTun is a high-performance, portable implementation of the WireGuard VPN protocol written in Rust, designed so that developers and system integrators can run WireGuard tunnels entirely in user space across a variety of operating systems without kernel modules. It implements the core WireGuard protocol — including key exchange, encryption (ChaCha20-Poly1305), and authenticated transport — while omitting platform-specific tunneling stacks, allowing embedment in custom VPN client applications or userspace networking tools. The repository includes both a library for programmatic use and a command-line executable that can act as a userspace WireGuard interface on supported platforms like Linux and macOS. Because it’s written in Rust, BoringTun benefits from strong safety guarantees, memory safety without garbage collection, and cross-platform support, making it suitable for mobile, desktop, and server environments.

    Cacao

    Cacao

Rust bindings for AppKit (macOS) and UIKit (iOS/tvOS)

This library provides safe Rust bindings for AppKit on macOS (beta quality, fairly usable) and UIKit on iOS/tvOS (alpha quality, see repo). It tries to do so in a way that, if you've done programming for the framework before (in Swift or Objective-C), will feel familiar. This is tricky in Rust due to the ownership model, but some creative coding and assumptions can get us pretty far. This exists on crates.io in part to enable the project to see wider usage, which can inform development. That said, this library is currently early stages and may have bugs - your usage of it is at your own risk. However, provided you follow the rules (regarding memory/ownership) it's already fine for some apps. The core repository has a wealth of examples to help you get started.

    Forma

    Forma

    An efficient vector-graphics renderer

Forma is an experimental vector graphics renderer written in Rust, developed by Google to explore high-performance, parallelized rendering techniques across multiple platforms. The project aims to achieve portability, performance, simplicity, and small footprint through a streamlined four-stage rendering pipeline. Forma provides both CPU (software) and GPU (hardware) backends, relying on Rust’s SIMD auto-vectorization, Rayon for multithreading, and WebGPU (wgpu) for hardware acceleration. The renderer processes Bézier curves, line segments, and pixels through stages of flattening, rasterization, sorting, and painting, updating only changed tiles for efficiency. This design allows Forma to render complex vector scenes—such as large-scale SVGs—at interactive frame rates even on CPUs.

    libsignal

    libsignal

Home to the Signal Protocol and other cryptographic primitives

libsignal is the foundational cryptographic library that implements the Signal Protocol and other essential primitives used across the official Signal clients and servers, enabling secure end-to-end encrypted communication. Written primarily in Rust with bindings and APIs surfaced for Java, Swift, and TypeScript, this library encapsulates critical algorithms like the Double Ratchet, prekey mechanisms, secure key storage, and zero-knowledge group primitives, along with additional utilities for media handling and device key transfer. libsignal abstracts complex cryptographic constructions into reusable components that client applications can adopt to ensure forward secrecy, authentication, and integrity without re-implementing core security logic. Although its primary use is within the Signal ecosystem, its documentation and exposed interfaces allow developers to explore modern secure messaging primitives or use pieces of the protocol in experimental applications.

    Decentralized Internet

    Decentralized Internet

SDK for building decentralized web and distributed computing projects

This project was created in order to support a new internet. One that is more open, free, and censorship-resistant in comparison to the old internet. An internet that eventually wouldn't need to rely on telecom towers, an outdated grid, or all these other "old school" forms of tech. We believe P2P compatibility is an important part of the future of the net. Grid Computing also plays a role in having a better means of transferring information in a speedy, more cost-efficient and reliable manner.

    sentinel

    sentinel

Sentinel is a filesystem-backed document DBMS written in Rust.

Sentinel is a filesystem-backed document DBMS built in Rust that prioritizes compliance, transparency, and auditability over raw performance. Unlike traditional databases, every document is a plain JSON file, making your data immediately forensic-friendly and Git-versionable. Perfect for regulated industries requiring GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS compliance. Sentinel provides async operations with automatic BLAKE3 hashing and optional Ed25519 signatures for cryptographic integrity. Data encryption supports AES-256-GCM, XChaCha20-Poly1305, and Ascon-128. Each document includes full audit metadata—creation timestamps, version history, hashes, and signatures—viewable with standard UNIX tools. Designed for edge deployments, compliance systems, audit logs, certificate management, and regulatory reporting. No server required, works entirely on filesystem with Git-based replication. Zero vendor lock-in—migrate anytime using standard tools like rsync, tar, or git.

    3DPass

    3DPass

The Implementation of The Ledger of Things Node. Layer 1 decentralized

3DPass is an open-source Layer 1 blockchain written in Rust and built on Substrate. It introduces a novel consensus mechanism called Proof of Scan, where miners validate by running recognition algorithms on 3D objects. Each object produces a reproducible cryptographic fingerprint (HASH ID) that is stored on-chain. If the same object is submitted again, the network rejects it, ensuring that only one of a kind assets can be registered. This approach enforces authenticity at the content level, something traditional file storage and NFT systems cannot achieve. The features of 3DPass include: Proof of Scan consensus, enforced uniqueness of 3D objects, CPU-only mining with no pools, object tokenization through the 3DPRC-2 standard, EVM compatibility, native web and mobile wallets, and open-source community governance.

    Cake

    Cake

    Distributed LLM and StableDiffusion inference

Cake is a compact, powerful toolkit that combines a flexible TCP/UDP proxy, port forwarding system, and connection manager designed for both development and penetration testing scenarios. It enables users to create complex networking flows where traffic can be proxied, relayed, and manipulated between endpoints — useful for debugging networked applications, inspecting protocols, or tunneling traffic through different hops. The tool is designed to work with multiple protocols and supports dynamic rule definitions so that incoming and outgoing connections can be routed, rewritten, or logged according to user-defined policies. Unlike many simple proxies, Cake can act as a full connection broker: it can bind to arbitrary interfaces, handle simultaneous upstream/downstream sessions, and apply traffic rules on the fly. This makes it suitable for troubleshooting tricky network behavior, simulating network conditions, or chaining services in a modular test environment.

    LSD

    LSDeluxe for commands

This project is heavily inspired by the super colorls project but with some little differences. For example it is written in rust and not in ruby which makes it much faster. Install the patched fonts of powerline nerd-font and/or font-awesome. Have a look at the Nerd Font README for more installation instructions. Don't forget to setup your terminal in order to use the correct font. lsd can be configured with a configuration file to set the default options. On non-Windows systems lsd follows the XDG Base Directory Specification convention for the location of the configuration file. The configuration dir lsd uses is itself named lsd. On Windows systems lsd only looks for the config.yaml files in one location. You can also provide a configuration file from a non standard location.

    Stremio Core

    Stremio Core

Types, addon system, UI models, core logic

Stremio Core is the Rust engine that powers Stremio’s apps by centralizing all reusable logic behind discovery, catalogs, metadata, streams, add-ons, and user/library state. It exposes a clean set of modules—types, addon_transport, and state_types—so apps can talk to add-ons, model UI state, and react to events without duplicating code. The architecture is inspired by Elm: immutable state, message-driven updates, and explicit side-effects (“effects”) keep behavior predictable and testable. An environment abstraction lets hosts provide implementations for things like storage, networking, and timers, making the core portable to desktop, mobile, and web. The project targets WebAssembly as well, so the same Rust logic can run inside the browser via a small bridge layer.
