MandelHash
MD5 hash used to position and color two overlaid Mandelbrot sets.
I'm using an MD5 hash of a username and password field to generate some entropy which is used to generate color pallets and positions / scaling of two Mandelbrot sets. These two images are overlaid to create interesting pictures which represent the entered credentials. I'm interested in all things security, this is mostly just for fun, but could possibly be used to help users identify mistakes in their password entry prior to submission and enforce a tighter failed password lockout policy. A remote control MilkDrop2 plugin for Windows
Allows you to easily remote control MilkDrop2 VJ Console in Winamp (Windows only) via graphic interface from any browser (via tablet or cellphone perhaps). You must have Apache2 (or any webserver) with PHP 5.4+ running on the same computer Winamp is running on and some basic knowledge of how that all works. Once you've got everything set up and running, it should run near flawlessly (I was using it for a few hours continuously once with no hiccups) There's a readme.txt file inside the zip file with some basic instructions. Check out the Wiki or Discussion tab for up to date instructions, info, and more... If anyone actually uses this, please let me know in the Discussion tab - I don't know if the interest would be that high this day and age but you never know... If you're a programmer, you could tweak this program as a template to remotely control anything you want (just give me some credit, I wrote it from scratch) Not a 100% easy setup, but anyone can do it! -

Total wraps the real value if it exceeds 1 or is less than -1. Right wraps only when the real values exceeds 1, Left only when less than -1. Normal and smoothed iteration versions of each type are provided. My first attempt is also there called 'Bad' because I'd created a couple of pictures and need bad versions if I want to work with them again. Instructions. Unzip the 64 bit plugin dll into C:\Program Files\Cygnus Software\Fractal eXtreme 64-bit\plugins64 The 32 bit plugin goes into C:\Program Files (x86)\Cygnus Software\Fractal eXtreme 32-bit\plugins or if you have 32bit windows it may the C:\Program Files\Cygnus Software\Fractal eXtreme 32-bit\plugins -

nutcracker is a php based web tool that allows the user to create sophisticated animations on any RGB device. Current RGB targets supported are Megatrees, matrices and Rays. Nutcracker sequences are a four step oricess 1) Go into the tool and define your RGB device, You are prompted for the number of RGB strings you have and how many pixels are on each string 2) You next go into the effects library. Spirals, meteors, butterfly wing and many other effects are available, For each effect you modify the effects parameters. 3) Nutcracker now builds an animated gif of your rgb device with the effect attached. If you dont like the effect, go back to step 2 and modify and try again 4) Finally, you click on the sequencer you want Nutcracker to create for. Currently Nutcracker supports these sequencers: Vixen, LSP, LOR and HLS. -

An open-source project to develop a plant generation tool.
An open-source project to develop a free, modern and sophisticated plant generation tool. This tool will feature an easy to use interface, and will be scalable, able to produce a large batch of similar plants simultaneously. The project is current just starting - I'm laying down some basic code to generate a tree skeleton, then using that skeleton to create an "envelope" mesh. Then I plan on adding features in subsequent releases. Then I'll probably end up rewriting all of the code and writing some documentation at the point where I have a good basic feature set. I will release new alphas every few weeks, containing source code and OS-specific binaries, unless I put development on hold for a while (see below). Project is currently ACTIVE. However, the next release is a complete remake of the existing code, so won't be around for a while. Please make sure you view the latest screenshots (slide to the right on the screenshot bar)! -
