OpenMRS is a community-developed, open source, enterprise electronic medical record system. Our mission is to improve health care delivery in resource-constrained environments by coordinating a global community to creates and support this software.

OpenVigil provides a webinterface to analyse pharmacovigilance data, i.e., spontanous or systematic collections of treatments (drugs) and observed adverse events ("drug side effects"). FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (AERS) and other pharmacovigilance data (e.g., Canadian or German) are supported. The OpenVigil web-based analysis tools offer several analysis modes like extraction, filtering, mining of data and analyses via measurements of disproportionality like proportional reporting ratio or reporting odds ratios) and export to spreadsheets programs like Microsoft Excel or statistics programs like R. OpenVigil 1 operates on raw data, OpenVigil 2 on cleaned data (using drugbank.ca and drugs@FDA), OpenVigilFDA uses the official FDA online API. OpenVigil 2 supports query for ATC codes or certain chemical moieties. Other tools of the OpenVigil project include a calculator for measurements of disproportionality for a 2x2 contingency table and a drugname mapper using RxNorm.

This project is the development of a Selection Tool primarely used in ImageJ and possibly in GIMP. It is based in LiveWire and SNAKES methods and will firstly be used in IVUS (intravascular ultra sound) images.

SimPET (http://www.sim-pet.org) is an open, efficient, and user‐friendly online platform for the generation of synthetic brain PET datasets. The platform offers the ability to generate realistic activity and attenuation maps from patient's PET/CT and MRI images. These maps can then be simulated, and sinograms and simulated images can be downloaded. Currently the platform incorporates MC models for the GE Advance, GE Discovery ST and Siemens mCT. More models are on the way. This project is an open collaboration between IDIS (www.idisantiago.es), Qubiotech (www.qubiotech.es), and FGUMA (www.fguma.es).

Open-source CT/ Radiography simulation package. XRaySim works seamlessly with commercial CAD packages and performs highly detailed scan simulations, with virtual X-ray sources and detectors, simulating cracks/ inclusions etc. very easily

kradview is a viewer of images obtained for some different sources: X-ray, NMR and all DICOM-compatible imaging devices. Its aim is to be a complete platform for medical imaging and image processing.

While resting-state fMRI is drawing more and more attention, there has not been a software for its data analysis. Based on MATLAB, we developed a package named REST. Currently REST has three main functions: function connectivity, ReHo and ALFF.

amilab is a tool for image processing that includes its own scripting language, and an interface for visualizing 2d/3d images and 3d surfaces. Its main application is medical image processing.

Eviewbox is a java imaging suite, its purpose is to view and spread native DICOM medical images and allowing for 2D reconstructions. EViewbox applet will allow to see the DICOM images on every platform.

GIMIAS is a workflow-oriented environment for solving advanced biomedical image computing and individualized simulation problems, which is extensible through the development of problem-specific plug-ins. In addition, GIMIAS provides an open source framework for efficient development of research and clinical software prototypes integrating contributions from the Physiome community while allowing business-friendly technology transfer and commercial product development.

This will be a place to release tools that have not yet been added to SciPy (or will not be added for whatever reason). Currently an interface to ImageMagick is here.

GNU Gluco Control (GGC) is diabetes management application. It helps managing user's daily data, food data. Has graphs, statistics, printing, diabetes devices support (meter, pump, CGMS). It works on any platform supporting at least Java 5 (1.5). Our repo moved to GIT (click on tab Git Code), Lowest supported Java now is 1.8 and project code base is in process of redesign (updating libraries and ways how application is built and run).
