I'm preserving Japheth's MS-DOS extender. It features 16bit, and 32bit capabilities with the ability to run 16bit OS/2 program, and 32bit Win32 code on Vanilla MS-DOS.

Since I'm having a hard time of tracking down older versions of UAE, I'm going to upload everything I have for prosperity. And to further preserve the old versions, I'm slowly converting milestone releases to run on MinGW via SDL.

This is the source code for the 1994 DOS shareware game God of Thunder (Turbo C/Assembler). It is a good example of how not to code in C. I was once told it was impressive that it actually worked, so that's something. This is only the main source code here. I have released it to the public domain. Do whatever you want with it. It will not compile as-is. There is at least 1 3rd party compression file missing and the sound/music code was a licensed library that is not open source. The opening/high score/game select screens are also not included. The game itself can be found for free on Steam. The graphics of the game are not open source and may not be used in any commercial projects. The music and sound effects are public domain but I would appreciate credit to "Roy Davis" if you use any of the music. He was my father and he passed away in 2011. The music and other stuff is in GOTstuff.zip. Sorry, but I cannot offer any support.

JWasm is a free MASM-compatible assembler with these features: native support for output formats Intel OMF, MS Coff (32/64-bit), Elf (32/64-bit), Binary, Windows PE (32/64-bit) and DOS MZ. precompiled JWasm binaries are available for DOS, Windows and Linux. For OS/2 and FreeBSD, makefiles are supplied. Instructions up to AVX are supported. JWasm is written in C. The source is portable and has successfully been tested with Open Watcom, MS VC, GCC and more. As far as programming for MS Windows is concerned, JWasm can be used with both WinInc (32/64-bit) and Masm32 (32-bit). Since v2.01, it will also work with Sven B. Schreiber's ancient WALK32. C header files can be converted to include files for JWasm with h2incX. JWasm's source code is released under the Sybase Open Watcom Public License, which allows free commercial and non-commercial use. There's a bunch of source samples available - they are supplied with the precompiled binary packages.

This is a tracker (http://tinyurl.com/ye3ypcy) for MS-DOS that uses the OPL-2 chips present in AdLib compatible cards to generate sound using FM synthesis. It was mainly developed using Borland Pascal (with some assembler bits by Keywiz) in a 386dx with a Sound Blaster Pro card, and even though it wasn't 100% finished, it was functional enough to create 3 demo songs which are included in the package. I originally made this back in 1994 when I was 17 and active in the argentine demoscene, but I will not be developing this any further, so I'm posting it here in case anybody is interesting in continuing it. UltraBasic is a QBasic compatible compiler, written originally by Gabriel Fernandez, and continued until 2004 by Angelo Rosina. It was hosted on Geocities, and has been moved here because of Geocities shutdown. Source code is in QB PDS 7.

I'm taking various older versions of the OS/2 based EMX port of GCC and re-hosting them on Win32. This way I can use multiple core machines to build my OS/2 side projects.

Engine_3D is a real-time 3D engine project grabbed from my old data. The entire 3D rendering is pure software: no OpenGL or the like, no 3D graphics card acceleration! And: Engine_3D is completely programmed in Ada. Some parts of the 3D engine, like the animated bump mapping, are still waiting to be ported to my newer 3D project, GLOBE_3D !... DOS and Linux versions available. Remarks for the DOS version: It is also a funny example of a game system almost fully in Ada, including sound driver, graphics driver, keyboard driver. The only things not in Ada there are the file system (MS-DOS), the 32-bit DOS extender (CWSDPMI) and the mouse driver. For running, I recommend DOSBox.
