e-Svaasthya is a web-based Hospital Information System (HIS) which aims at catering to hospitals of any size. It will help in computerization of all the activities of the hospital right from patient registration to adding and accessing patient data securely, online consultation and treatment by doctors, blood bank management, ward and operation theatre management, etc. Being a web-based system, it enables data sharing across different regions. In its current form the system supports patients to be registered as in-patients or out-patients, assignment of in-patients to wards, ward-management, creation of periodic reports including x-rays, laboratory reports, blood-pressure/fever charts, etc. It also provides complete functionality suite for Pharmacy, Blood Bank, Pathology and the Ambulatory departments of the hospital. In addition to this, the system also provides rich feature list for doctors and nurses, including scheduling of appointments for doctors etc.
