The application Bio7 is an integrated development environment for ecological modelling and contains powerful tools for model creation, scientific image analysis and statistical analysis. The application itself is based on an RCP-Eclipse-Environment (Rich-Client-Platform) which offers a huge flexibility in configuration and extensibility because of its plug-in structure and the possibility of customization.

TXM is a free and open-source cross-platform Unicode & XML based text analysis environment and graphical client, supporting Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. It can also be used online as a J2EE standard compliant web portal (GWT based) with access control built in. Maui is the Maltcms User Interface, a rich client application for Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry and related research areas.

Web application providing analysis of biomedical relationships. Built using the Grails web application framework (http://grails.org/) with MySQL (http://www.mysql.com/) as a back-end datastore and utilizing R (http://www.r-project.org/) for statistical analysis. Developed by the Dana Farber Cancer Institute (http://compbio.dfci.harvard.edu/) and Entagen (http://www.entagen.com).

Current functions: 1. The General Association Rule Mining Framework(GARMF) library, which support mining association rules from transactions(boolean, weighted, fuzzy), spatial datasets (vector and raster) and spatio-temporal datasets (raster snapshots). Besides it support incremental mining. 2. Rule Filtering Library (RFL), a library for rule evaluation. 3. Besides, DAP-Shell, a GUI shell for GARMF and RFL, will be provided. However I'll pay no more attention on it.
