EtiC Galaxy simulation
Galaxy extraterrestrial life simulation
EtiC is a galaxy simulation software that generates and renders a mock galaxy for rational estimation of the number of extraterrestrial civilizations. Stars and planets are simulated with plausible physical characteristics, based on user-adjustable parameters. An EtiC simulation run consists to generate a galaxy disk physical stars, associate planets to the stars, and for habitable planets, simulate the life stages evolution until extinction. A visual animation of the galaxy and user selection of highlighted star-planet objects is provided, together with statistics (25+ graphs) and estimates of Drake equation factors. The V2_1 provides several new features: planets surface magnetic field, reworked life stage transitions, integration of MW exoplanets catalog, planets view and graphs window optionally on different threads... EtiC is based on OpenGL / GLFW 3.2, runs on MSWindows 7 and MacOsX. Source code in C++, was developped using the Dev-C++ IDE and XCode. -

In this Project, a human head voxel model is developed for use in CST Studio commercial software pack using an improved voxel set extracted from MRI images of a human head. The proposed voxel model contains 256x256x128 voxel elements with dimensions of 1.1x1.1x1.4 mm. Moreover, the dispersive dielectric properties of head tissues, as well as their density and thermal conductivity, are embedded. This head voxel model was presented at the ICEE2017 conference. An open source toolkit for real space missions
Moon2.0 software is an open source toolkit to design low cost space missions. It is intended for educational or experimental use. This program covers all the phases of a typical space mission: spacecraft and propellant design, satellite and attitude control, trajectory simulation, ground station coverage, etc. The main window is an OpenGL 3D viewer that shows the progress of the spacecraft trajectory during the mission simulation. Additional panels are available to define the spacecraft and trajectory parameters. A set of predefined missions is provided including: sub-orbital flights, LEO and GEO orbits, Moon landing and deep space missions. Use the toolbar at the top of the main window to control the simulation, show or hide auxiliary panels, load predefined presets or configure the program. -

The OpenCMISS-Zinc Library (opencmiss.org/zinc), or Zinc, is a software library for building interactive graphical modelling and visualisation applications. Further fields can be defined by mathematical expressions and algorithms on existing fields, including image processing filters.
