SPTK is a suite of speech signal processing tools for UNIX environments, e.g., LPC analysis, PARCOR analysis, LSP analysis, PARCOR synthesis filter, LSP synthesis filter, vector quantization techniques, and other extended versions of them.

GeeXboX for Wii is the linux-based media center GeeXboX ported to run on Nintendo Wii game console. Major features of current GeeXboX for Wii: audio/video playback, picture viewing, file sharing and transfer over ethernet and bluetooth.

GeeXboX is a standalone media player Linux distribution, based on MPlayer. It's a small bootable LiveCD which allows you to play your favorites multimedia (audio/video/images) files. It works on x86 and PPC computers.

Linux DJ (LDJ) is a bootable cd linux distribution (based off of Debian GNU/Linux) designed for the purpose of setting up music 'casting servers. LDJ supports being run as a diskless system, or can be used as a starting point for an install.

AEBL Mobile Media Player, changing how we consume media. AEBL is a media player and a digital media platform in use in the IHDN XPO network media system ( http://www.ihdn.ca/Xpo_VI.html ). AEBL is foremost a mobile media distribution and playback framework. It was created to be the core technology that is used in a television ad insertion and digital sign, and further development has opened up many more applications. It currently is designed to run on a raspberry Pi, although it is being ported to other systems. Automatic command line CD ripper and ogg encoder along with freedb.org client. It tries to connect to freedb.org server to get CD info. If no info is found a text file may be provided instead. Also supports FLAC and MP3 (ID3 tag).

BME is a command-line (console) media encoder akin to abcde. It is a borne shell script with some optional bits for other tasks. It is designed to be quick, require minimum user involvement (changing CD's) and be tweaked to your particular needs.
