You can access this virtual machine and run it on your phone without causing any damage to your device, or having to overwrite anything. Why might you want this? well my apps are designed to make the install and set up process as easy as possible (more so in the paid apps) while still giving you some flexibility. Once you have the distro up and running then you can pretty much run and install any linux software you like (so long as there is a arm port or it is not architecturaly dependent). -

This is a fork of the now-defunct Android backup tool SMS Backup. It uses Gmail/IMAP to perform SMS, MMS and call log backups over the network. It is important that you perform the first backup manually. SMS Backup+ needs to know whether you want to upload messages currently stored on your device or not. SMS Backup+ can also backup and restore your call logs. It stores all calls using a separate label (defaults to Call log, but can be changed in "Advanced settings"). If you wish you can set this to the same value as SMS, to make all backups use the same label. -

MAME4droid (0.139u1) is developed by David Valdeita (Seleuco), port of MAME 0.139u1 emulator by Nicola Salmoria and TEAM. MAME4droid (0.139u1) emulates arcade games supported by original MAME 0.139u1. This MAME4droid version is targeted to Dual-Core devices, because it is based on a high specs 2010 PC MAME build. Anyway don't expect arcade games of the 90 to work at full speed. With some games that are really bad optimized (like outrun or mk series) you will need at least a 1.5 ghz dual-core device (Cortex A15). This is related to MAME build used, since it is targeted to high specs PC's as i said before. This version emulates over 8000 different romsets. Please, try to understand that that with that amount of games, some will run better than others and some might not even run with MAME4droid. Please, don't email me asking for a specific game to run. IOS6 and recent iTunes updates have broken a few features. We have made some partial fixes, but they are not complete. If you'd like to help support our development, or take over the development please let us know. Explore the internal file structure of your iphone (or of a seized phone in the case of forensic teams) using either the iphone's own backup files or (for jail broken iphones) ssh. Viewing of plist, sqlite, and hex are supported. IOS 5 is now supported iOS 6 only partially works at the moment (some features fail or are missing). Unfortunately paid work means we can't fix this right now, but would welcome anyone else submitting patches.

For Root Method: The application creates a disk image on a flash card, mounts it and installs an OS distribution. Applications of the new system are run in a chroot environment and working together with the Android platform. All changes made on the device are reversible, i.e. the application and components can be removed completely. Installation of a distribution is done by downloading files from official mirrors online over the internet. The application requires superuser rights (ROOT).Installing a new operating system takes about 15 minutes. The recommended minimum size of a disk image is 1024 MB (with LXDE), and without a GUI - 512 MB. Noroot Method: Install MOBICONSOLE addon and then install the linux on a non-rooted phone. -
