UrJTAG aims to create an enhanced, modern tool for communicating over JTAG with flash chips, CPUs, and many more. It is a descendant of the popular openwince JTAG tools with a lot of additional features and enhancements.

The Linux GPIB Package is a support package for GPIB (IEEE 488.2) hardware. The package contains a development environment consisting of a GPIB library written in C, kernel driver modules, and bindings for several other languages.

Monitor everything. OWHTTPD -- same system, only used as a light weight web server. OWFS is also ported to embedded routers, Mac OSX and Windows. Basically you can use these inexpensive little sensors and other chips with very simple wiring to sense and control the physical environment. The interface is very flexible -- everything from a web browser, to read and writing directly to the chip's "file" to integrating with your programs -- even over the internet. MARF is a general cross-platform framework with a collection of algorithms for audio (voice, speech, and sound) and natural language text analysis and recognition along with sample applications (identification, NLP, etc.) of its use, implemented in Java.

Accent (Advanced Component Control Enhancing Network Technologies) is a comprehensive tool suite that interfaces a variety of communications systems and allows these systems to be controlled through goals (high-level user aims) and policies (lower-level system rules). Accent has been applied to the domains of: o Call Control: for telecommunications, particularly call control in Internet telephony o Home Care: for home automation and telecare, particularly for domestic appliances and devices to support home care o Sensor Networks: sensor networks, particularly managing wind farms However, the approach is generic and extensible for managing other kinds of systems. Accent is essentially software. As most of Accent in in Java, it needs at least a Java Runtime Environment but more likely a Java Software Development Kit. To interact with the real world, Accent needs relevant hardware such as a communications server (softswitch) or home automation equipment.

LavaRnd is a random number generator that converts a digitized chaotic source (such as a lens capped web camera) into cryptographically strong random numbers. LavaRnd comes with both an APIs (currently C and Perl) as well as a number of demos.

The goal of the Perl OBD-II Logger project is to create a flexible and efficient application that can capture and log OBD-II Mode 0x01 PID data from an automotive scantool. It is designed with accurate and efficient PID data logging in mind, and provides NO support for reading or resetting diagnostic trouble codes. By default, the output log file contains time-stamped PID values in a simple Comma Separated Values (CSV) format that can be readily imported into popular data analysis or spreadsheet applications. (Output to an SQLite3 database file is also available). It is written in Perl, so it runs in any computing environment with a working Perl interpreter. The program supports scantools that are based on the ELM Electronics ELM327 or OBD Solutions STN1110 programmed microcontrollers. It has been tested with scantools using legacy RS-232 serial, serial over USB, and Bluetooth hardware interfaces. Perl OBD-II Logger even runs on the popular Raspberry Pi computer!

RPi-Monitor is a monitoring tool which keep an eye on your computer and can give you the current status and the history of resources usages in a nice looking and interactive web interface. RPi-Monitor is design to be light and powerful and doesn't relies on other software to run. It has been deigned to run on embedded device and consume very few system resources.

VTracer is a Verilog Testbench developer aid. Contains well documented Verilog-Perl co-simulation environment (TCP sockets based), structural Verilog parser, demo Testbenches.

Pretty Damn Quick (PDQ) analytically solves queueing network models of computer and manufacturing systems, data networks, etc., written in conventional programming languages. Generic or customized reports of predicted performance measures are output.

RSMeter is a package for interfacing to the RadioShack/Metex 22-168A series of serial-connected multimeters. Currently, it includes an ncurses interface and a script to graph readings. Support for other meters is planned in the future, with an API.

SmGen is a finite state machine (FSM) generator for Verilog. On the other hand, it is not an FSM entry tool. The input is behavioral Verilog with clock boundaries specifically set by the designer. SmGen unrolls this behavioral code and generates an FSM from it in synthesizable Verilog. Clock boundaries are explicitly provided by the designer so there is good control on the expected timing

The Collaborative Testing System (CTS) tests parallel software using various implementations of MPI. It works on multiple platforms and supports batch systems including LSF, LCRM and workstations without a batch system. It includes a numerical diff tool.
