Pros: On Procare, we really like the ease of being able to talk with the parents in real time through the chat app. We also like the ease of the application as a whole. It’s simple to navigate for the teachers and the parents.
Cons: I don’t really have any major cons about the app. The only thing I would change would be in the scheduling section being able to add in breaks and show the schedule in the app for everyone.
Overall: Overall, Elm Tree truly enjoys using Procare. We have used a couple different apps at the center over the years, but ProCare has been the favorite for the staff and parents. I highly recommend to other early childhood providers.

Pros: Ease of use, I did not know anything about procare before, I taught myself and it was relatively easy to learn.
Cons: Very complex. Some people that are not computer literate may have a hard time using the software.
Overall: I really like the software. I have enjoyed learning it as well as implementing it within my child care center.

Cons: I would like a call back option when reaching out to support so I don't have to stay on the line while waiting an extended amount of time.

Pros: Procare is easy to use, makes communication with parents flawless and allows us to keep in contact with parents regularly, makes billing easier, and is a great resource to help our Center and business.
Cons: I would like a feature to track a child's activities through the day and give a report to parents at pickup instead of sending updates throughout the day.
Overall: Overall Procare is an amazing tool that the Daycare Center I work for utilizes every single day, as well as all of our parents.

Pros: I like that Procare is a one stop shop for every feature you need in terms of daily operations of a childcare facility. From billing to scheduling, record keeping, payroll, parent communication, and everything in between. Procare has easy to use tutorials to keep up with the ever changing technology.
Cons: There are a fair number of updates that can cause issues with the operations. Most of them are done at night, but it does slow down the software when this happens.
Overall: I would recomend procare to anyone looking to make a change. There are so many features, but you can take it slow and use more features as you get more comfortable.

Pros: It has been the best decision for the children's arts studio, from an administrative perspective. It allows us to stay organized with registration, billing, parent communication, handbooks, etc.
Cons: Being able to do a partial refund in the billing department would be extremely helpful. And I would say myself and the team is not a huge fan of the updated messaging system.
Overall: We are super happy with our decision to switch to Procare & have no plans to leave it! I feel that it has highly elevated our business.

Pros: Procare is a great product and helps cover all kinds of different needs for our center! From billing to data collection/management to student sign in/out. So many features and so easy to personalize!
Cons: There are so many features, it can be difficult to find and adjust things, but the support website offers great tutorials!
Overall: It has been an great experience working with Procare. We have been able to create personalized reports, streamline billing, manage attendance, and much more!

Pros: The best childcare system created for this industry it took time to create and build. I’m also a parent and back in the day we all experienced written reports about our children but never like this and this connectivity app had so much to offer
Cons: Hopefully a business hour messages can be invented soon for after hours

Pros: Procare Solutions has been easy to learn, easy to use. I've been especially please with the integration of billing with payments through Tuition Express. There are many training videos available. For the few instances something has gone awry, support has been able to get us back on track.
Cons: We are switching to the cloud version soon, so I am hoping the overall appearances improves. Though our need to call support has been fairly minimal, the wait time on hold could be better.
Overall: We have used Procare Desktop for over 15 years, and it has served us well. We are poised to move to the cloud version this month and are looking forward to it. Procare Solutions has provided the management features we need to run a successful child care business.

Pros: I have been using Procare for 9 years as a center director. Procare is an easy way to keep family and children information all in one place. Keeping track of staff time cards is also easy with Procare sign in. The parent app is the best part. It connects your staff directly with your families. It’s an easy way for parents to do a quick check in or for staff to send a quick update on the day
Cons: I wish there was a better waitlist option. I do not like having to make an account for a family on Procare just to have a waitlist. If the family does not come to the center we cannot delete their file
Overall: It is a great way to keep staff, parents, and owners all connected. Easy to figure out and helpful to keep organized.

Cons: I do not like the reports generated with dates without being able to clear history or delete the past generated reports.

Pros: We are excited to make the switch to Procare after a recommendation from another program in the area. We take photos of the students for families and being able to upload more than 1 at a time is huge for our program. We also like the ease of messaging families, keeping track of tuition payments, possible new students, and being able to track attendance and print emergency cards is a huge time saver for us.
Cons: We haven't found anything about the program that would be a con for us at this time.
Overall: We are excited to make the switch and our teaching team is excited as well which is a large influence in my decision to select a program.

Pros: I love being able to easily monitor my students being checked in and checked out each day, and safely see who’s picking them up!
Cons: I have experienced glitches with the message notifications, which is very inconvenient… Especially if it’s a time sensitive message from one of my parents!

Pros: What I like most about Procare is the ease of use. It was very simple to set up & very simple to get started using for myself, the staff and the parents. If we ever had any questions a representative was there to help us along the way.
Cons: If I had to pick a con about Procare, which is hard to do, it would be that some parents experienced minor glitches with setting up their automatic ACH payments. All in all, any of those were taken care of within days.
Overall: Overall, I am so glad we decided to invest in our daycare by using Procare. For the small amount it costs us monthly, it pays for itself with time saved! Bonus is that the parents really like us using it also!

The time I save using the “Billing & Invoicing” recurring plan feature is priceless! Everything is entered in once & it repeats automatically as long as you need. It saves me from so much time sitting at a computer.
The Student Info & Records feature lets us have all of the information we typically store in a paper file, but available at our fingertips, without having to go into the office & into the filing cabinet to look for it.
The "Attendance Tracking" feature does exactly what it says! It makes keeping track of our kiddos by total attendance or attendance by room so much easier. Before we were doing all of this by hand, day by day, writing down sign in & sign out.
The "Communications Management" feature is one of the things the staff & parents like most. We're able to update the parents on their child's day easily, with photos. If there happens to be an accident or incident, we can let them know immediately.
Being able to have "Mobile Access" is another priceless feature. These days there is an app for everything & nearly everyone has their phone on them almost all of the time. Staff can provide immediate information & parents receive it moments later.
The staff, parents & I as the owner/admin appreciate the "Immunization & Allergy Tracking". The allergy cards are posted in every room, not only the kitchen. This helps the staff keep the kids stay safe & gives parents peace of mind.
I chose Procare because I felt like we would be more satisfied. The representative was very upfront with all information & features including offering the best pricing immediately. Brightwheel quoted a cost, then when I stated I decided to go with Procare, they came down on their cost in attempt to "beat Procare out". I just personally did not care for that approach to business. Also, there was no feature or capability that Brightwheel had that Procare did not. Plus, I preferred the layout and ease of use of Procare. -

Pros: Easy to use, customer support is great, parents are happy with updates! Overall, Procare is a great system. The Billing is integrated so easily with other programs and there are few outages.
Cons: It’s hard to get new programs going. Desktop and online versions don’t always talk to each other and things need to be updated on both sometimes.
Overall: Procare is fantastic, especially if there are any issues. They have done a great job at helping with implementation and answering any and all questions. I *never* feel like a bother when I am asking for support and I feel like concerns and additions are valued by the company.
