Pros: It's easy to use and helps us keep track of kids, billing, and messages to parents all in one place.

Cons: The mobile app can sometimes be a little slow or glitch when uploading photos or switching between screens, but it’s usually fixed fast.

Overall: Procare makes our day smoother and keeps parents in the loop. It’s been really helpful for our team.

Pros: I love that when I work with Procare it is like second nature. All of the menus are in a spot that are easy to find. It is also very simple to add in new menus or classrooms. I love that I am able to input all of my documents in the system and it will print me out things such as tax statements, allergy lists and even classroom rosters or birthdays.

Cons: It logs me out a lot and that makes it difficult when I am in a hurry to do something

Overall: Overall I am happy. I haven't felt the need to switch over to anything else and probably won't. It is pretty user friendly. We really liked when a representative actually worked with us to learn how to accept card payments.

Pros: The easy access to all of the tabs and it's very manageable, even for my grandmother who is in her 70s.

Cons: Sometimes it lags but that could also be a connection issue and not actually Procare

Overall: We love it and have used it for 18 years. I have used it at multiple jobs I've been at and its just all around great.

Pros: Being able to get most of my business functions taken care of in one spot. This program has supported us in learning how to manage everything and the care team is very supportive. We recently reached out about trainings and they were very supportive and helpful!

Cons: We would like to see better organization from Procare. We can't upload our incident/accident reports, because they would get scrambled with the important documents that we load. then it would become a hassle to find anything. We would also love to have categories for our communications, because not all communications are flagged important and some are mainly for curriculum with teachers. So being able to separate would be helpful.

Overall: We are happy and working on learning how to use the system to its full potential. We look forward to the trainings that we will be setting up and utilizing Procare to the best of it's abilities.

Pros: I’ve been using Procare for more than 10years and I love it! Procare helps me keep track of staff and children’s requirements/documentation. You can print a report for any information or data you need. It is fully customizable. Procare does so much and if I need help the support website is great. There you can find easy step by step directions/ videos. The phone support team is also very helpful. I use Procare for everything; attendance tracing for children and staff, data/required paperwork, tuition charges and payment, center expenses, parent and staff communication, children’s daily reports, and more. Starting in July, I plan to use the agency payment part of Procare. It will allow me to manage agency payment with a separate ledger under each family’s account.

Cons: Honestly, I love everything about Procare. Any concern or questions I have ever had/have are answered quickly by the support staff or website.

Overall: Procare has streamlined my workload. All my information is in one place and right at your fingertips.

Pros: I really enjoy using Procare. It is simple and easy to navigate. My favorite part is the ability to create various reports for different needs.

Cons: I do not have any cons at this time. I am fairly new to the program and I have enjoyed it so far.

Overall: Procare Solutions has been an incredibly valuable tool for our center over the past three years. It streamlines day-to-day operations, enhances communication with families, and gives us confidence in managing both staff and student records—all in one place. While there’s a bit of a learning curve and a few areas that could be more customizable, the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks. The platform is reliable, the features are thoughtfully designed, and the customer support is outstanding. I’d highly recommend Procare to any childcare provider looking to simplify their workflow and elevate the quality of their program.

Pros: I enjoy the convenience of everything happening on one platform - attendance, billing, staff time cards, parent and staff communication, onboarding new clients - it really simplifies my day! I also LOVE that when I have an issue with the program I can quickly get help through customer service, or I can even suggest an upgrade to the product. Love it when Procare comes through with a fix that didn't previously exist!

Cons: I wish I could issue partial refunds. Currently the only option is to issue a 100% refund for a payment, which is incredibly problematic if I am having to issue a prorated refund for a tuition or fee payment. My only workaround is to have the bank issue a check, but then trying to log the payment that took place outside of Procare get messy.

Overall: Overall I am incredibly pleased with Procare. It saves me time with day-to-day operations and is very user friendly!

Cons: Parents can't pay online. Wish AD had more access.

Pros: Love that this app is so easy to use. I gave four stars as there are not much options for creating newsletter.

Cons: The help desk takes a long time to answer. I also wish that the app would let us know if it is down for maintenance or so.

Cons: Things weren’t similes when joining Procare. My program manager & myself had issues with joining parents had issues with the parent portal

Cons: System Outages in 2024: There were noticeable system downtimes throughout 2024, which temporarily disrupted access to updates and caused minor inconvenience.

Limited Photo Interaction Visibility: When multiple people interact with photos on the timeline (think 3 or more), it’s unclear who they are. With only my wife and me using the app to see our child, seeing three or more interactions can be confusing even though my guess is it might be a parent of another kid that's also in the photo.

No Quick-Access Checkout Feature: The app lacks a feature like an Apple Wallet card or QR code integration for checking out our kid from daycare. A “checkout ID” with a PIN or QR code, similar to other apps like car insurance, would streamline the pick-up process.

Overall: As a parent, staying connected with my child's daycare experience is invaluable, and Procare delivers an great solution for real-time updates and communication. Despite a few minor drawbacks, the app’s strengths make it an indispensable tool for parents, earning it a well-deserved 5-star rating.

Cons: QR code doesn’t work, sometimes app goes down. Parents have a hard time signing in and out
