Happy birthday
Al meer als een week terug van vakantie en eindelijk tijd vrijgemaakt om weer eens lekker te stempelen. Kliederen met gesso en stains, helemaal goed!

Post-it note boekje
Weer een klein post-it note bekleed met een omslag. Het karton heb ik eerst bewerkt met distress paints en toen het geheel bekleed met de Tim Holtz wrap paper. De vlinders nog een beetje met extra kleur aangezet. Ook een bijpassend potloodje gemaakt.
Again made a cover for a tiny post-it note. I colored the cardboard first with distress paints and than covered the whole with the Tim Holtz wrap paper. Added some extra color on the butterflies. Also made a corresponding pencil.
De binnenkant is bestempeld met allerlei Tim Holtz stempels. Het tekstje is van Hero Arts.
The inside is stamped with several Tim Holtz stamps. The little text is from Hero Arts.

Tall ship
Wederom een kader gemaskerd, achtergrond met goosebumps bespoten en gesponst. Het schip gestempeld en lichtjes ingekleurd. Daar ik de achtergrond nog te saai vond, het schip weer gemaskerd en de french post stempel van Hero Arts afgedrukt.

Just add pearl challenge
Deze week vind de challenge "just add pearl" bij Simon Says Stamp and Show blog. De achtergrond is gemaskerd en heb hierin de PSX tekst stempel wit embossed. Daarna de achtergrond gesponst met distress inkten victorian velvet en tea dye en bespoten met perfect pearl mist. De Hero Arts etched flower is ingekleurd met distress markers spiced marmelade, wild honey en barn door en de blaadjes met shabby shutters, peeled paint. De bloem is nog voorzien van een laagje distress stickles picket fence voor extra bling bling.

Tall ship
De basis voor deze kaart is een witte kaart waarop eerst gedeeltelijk de vintage map stempel van Hero Arts is gestempeld met archival bruin. Daarna de gehele achtergrond voorzien van een dun laagje gesso en na drogen gesponst met distress inkten. Als laatste het schip gestempeld met versafine en deze hier en daar gekleurd met potloden.

Wederom gewerkt met de pan pastels in combinatie met versamark. Het leuke aan pan pastels is dat je het ook weer kunt uitgummen, heel handig om zo accenten aan te kunnen brengen.
De bloemen stempel is van Stampendous en heet ranunculous field.

ATC pan pastels
Voor deze ATC heb ik eerst rondom een frame gemaskerd en hierin de Hero Arts Print and Flower pattern gestempeld met versamark. Deze gekleurd met pan pastel kleurtjes (yellow ochre en burnt sienna). Dit voorzien van een fixeer laagje zodat het niet meer zal afgeven.
De vlinder (HA antique engravings set) ingekleurd met distress markers en de kleuren met elkaar vermengd met een waterpen.
De tekst (HA find joy set) gestempeld met memento black op een wit strookje waar ik eerst de HA old french writing achtergrond tekst op heb gestempeld met spiced marmelade distress marker.
For this ATC I first masked a border around the edges and stamped in it the Hero Arts Print and Flower pattern with versamark. Colored this stamped image with pan pastel colors (yellow ochre and burnt sienna). Added a fixation layer on it for protection.

Hero Arts August sketch
Voor deze kaart heb ik 1 van de sketches gebruikt van de HA Flickr maand challenge. Alleerst heb ik een baan afgeplakt met post-it notes zodat ik met distress inkten scattered straw en tea dye aan beiden kanten van de afgeplakte strook kan sponzen. Daarna met distress gathered twigs de achtergrond tekst (HA old french writing) gestempeld, wel voor het afdrukken hier en daar het inkt weer verwijderd van de stempel voor een speels effect.
Dan de post-it notes verwijderd en langs de randen en randje aangezet met distress marker brushed corderoy.
De bloemen stempel (HA butterfly flowers) 2x afgedrukt op een ander stuk wit papier en dit ingekleurd met de distress markers (tumbled glass, broken china, peeled paint en crushed olive). Daarna bemist met een perfect pearl biscotti mix. De afdrukken rondom uitgeknipt en op de witte strook geplakt.
De happy birthday tekst (HA find joy set) gestempeld op een apart strookje met archival coffee en gesponst met distress inkt tumbled glass. Dit verhoogd aangebracht op de kaart.

Than stamped the background text stamp (HA old french writing) with gathered twigs distress ink. Removed some ink from the stamp before stamping off on the paper to get a more playfull result. Removed the post-it notes and added with brushed corderoy marker a border.
Stamped the flowers (HA butterfly flowers) twice on a seperate piece of white paper and colored it with distress markers (tumbled glass, broken china, peeled paint en crushed olive). After that misted it with a perfect pearl biscotti mixture. Cut out the flowers and adhered it on the white stroke.
The happy birthday text (HA find joy set) is stamped on a separate stroke with archival coffee and sponged it with tumbled glass distress ink. Adhered it with thick tape on the card.

Summer feeling
Allereerst de luscious flower achtergrond stempel afgedrukt met versamark en wit ge-embossed. Ingekleurd met de distress markers en de achtergrond gesponst met distress inkt. De vlinder gestempeld met memento black en ingekleurd met de distress markers en het lijfje voorzien van een laagje glossy accents. De newspaper background en de tekst gestempeld op een aparte strook. De kaart voorzien van een gerafelde rand en de buitenkaart nog iets aangezet met distress inkt.

Bloem
Deze bloem van Penny Black vind ik zo mooi......ingekleurd met mijn nieuwe distress markers, waar ik heel blij mee ben!
De french post stempel als eerste op het achtergrond papier gestempeld en toen de goosebumps erop gespoten. Na droging gesponst met distress inkten.

Ingestuurd voor de depth of distress challenge bij Simon Says Stamp and Show blog.
Again a masked a border and sponged inside with distress inks (peacock feather, crushed olive, vintage photo). Sprayed it with a mixture of water and perfect pearls. The butterflies are embossed several times with thick embossing powder.
I'm entering this in the depth of distress challenge athe the Simon Says Stamp and Show blog.
