Crafts Galore Encore Challenge #89 - Anything Goes - Sponsor Bugaboo Digi Stamps

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

Here I am wishing you a happy July. This year seems to be rushing by. Being the first of the month the new challenge starts at the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge blog. The theme is the ever popular Anything Goes and the sponsor is Bugaboo Digi Stamps.

Here is the card I made.

This is another diamond point card. I like making this design. I needed two sheets of patterned paper to complete the design. The die I used was one of the Claritystamp club dies.

There are so many fabulous images and sentiments in the Store. Click on the logo and you will be taken there.

This image is called Teacup Flowers 1 and it is available HERE.  As the image came in a PNG version I was able to create a background on the computer and the image was placed on top. I coloured the image with my Faber Castell Polychromo pencils. I did add some gems to the image.

This was a fun card to make. I do like a bit of colouring.

October Rudolph Days Challenge - Cheeky Snowman

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

Good news our daughter and son-in-law have moved. The move day was last Friday and mostly the rain stayed away. We went up to help. We cleaned, we collected hot drinks from Starbucks, we provided a picnic and we helped a bit with unpacking. We arrived home about 8.00pm just in time to feed the bunnies. We went back on Saturday to help a bit more. On Sunday we had a day at home. Also on Friday we found out that my hubby has been accepted for Voluntary Severance and he will be retiring on 30th November. Life is going to be a bit different.

I have been a bit out of the loop for a few days. I nearly missed the October Rudolph Days Challenge which runs from the 25th until the end of the month.

The blue snowy patterned paper was in my stash.

I have been practising my pencil colouring. This cute little image comes from Bugaboo and is called Snow Friends and it is available HERE.  They were coloured with pencils but for the life of me I can not remember which ones. Oops.

Well another card for my stash. I have made over 100 cards now. I hope that is enough. We are arranging with lots of people not to exchange Christmas presents this year. I will still send Christmas cards though. People are still in our thoughts.

Winter Wonderland - Snowmen and Snow Challenge - Sponsor Bugaboo

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

How has your week been? Lots of the schools have gone back now. It must all be very strange for the children  and their teachers. I have been quite tired after the sale at the weekend. I didn't do too badly I sold quite a few cards. I have got more idea about what sells now. So if I get to do it again that knowledge will help.

The new challenge starts at the Winter Wonderland Challenge blog and I am hosting this one. I have chosen the theme of Snowmen and Snow. Our sponsor is Bugaboo Digi Stamps and I was able to choose some adorable images.

I decided to make a DL card. The patterned paper was in my stash.

There are many wonderful images in the store. Click on the logo and you will be taken there.

This cute little image is called Three Snowmen and it is available HERE.

This is a very cute little card. It is another one for my Christmas stash.

Clyde the Dragon - Get Well Card

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

How was your weekend. On Saturday we met our friends for a lovely walk by the river in Hamble. In the evening we watched a live stream of a John Lennon tribute Act. Then on Sunday we went up to Andover so we could see the house our daughter and son-in-law are in the process of buying. We still had lots of time at home to get on with jobs.

I have been following the Facebook lives that Barbara Gray does very weekday at 10.00 am. Now one week we doodle and one week we colour with pencils. Until then I had never really got on with colouring with pencils. I did treat myself to a set of Prismacolor pencils a while back. Well now I can use them. I am rather pleased.

So I could practice I went through and found all the images I had printed and not coloured. For this card I used a lot of dies. From Creative Expressions I used the Double Pierced Squares and Rectangles and the  Stitched Flag dies. The patterned papers were in my stash.

This cute little dragon is called Clyde Get Well and he comes from Bugaboo. He was coloured with my Prismacolor pencils.

I have made a lot of get well cards lately. I do love this little dragon he is lovely to colour with pens or pencils.

Winter Wonderland Challenge Blog - Blue Christmas - Sponsor Bugaboo

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

I hope you have had a good week and have something nice planned for the weekend. We are planning to visit our daughter and son-in-law on Sunday. They are thinking of moving and they want us to see the house they are interested in. My dad got on well at daycare. So he is now signed up to go once a week. I think it will be good for him he will be encouraged to do activities and mixing with other people is good too.

Today the new challenge starts at the Winter Wonderland Challenge blog and the theme is Blue Christmas. The sponsor this time is Bugaboo Digi Stamps.

When I printed the image I printed the papers to go with it at the same time. This way I don't have to go hunting for papers of the right colour. Everything was printed onto Neenah Card Stock.

There really are many wonderful images in the store. Click on the logo and you will be taken there.

This image is called Snow Friends and is available HERE.  This cute image was coloured with my Promarkers. I made a frame for the image with my Double Pierced Rectangle dies from Creative Expressions. The Merry Christmas die is from Crafter's Companion and the Snowflake chain came from The Works.

This is another one for my stash. I really liked making a blue Christmas card. Why not join in with our challenge and get ahead with your Christmas card makes.

Happy birthday to "Ewe"

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

How was your weekend? I had a fantastic Crafty Time. On Saturday we went to the Farnborough Craft Show we caught up with lots of friends and of course I bought a few things. It would have been rude not to. We visited my parents  as they live nearby. Overnight we stayed in a hotel we had a lovely room and a very nice meal in the restaurant. On Sunday after a big breakfast my husband dropped me off for a bonus workshop with Lisa Pearce (stamping) and John Lockwood (die cutting). I made two lovely cards and I have two cards to finish at home. My hubby spent the day with his parents. They all collected me after the workshop and we had a meal together before we set off home. I will share the cards I made when I have finished the ones I brought home.

It was the birthday of the lady who looks after our cow in France with her husband on their farm. They recently acquired some sheep. So I decided to make her a fun Birthday card.

When I am going to colour an image I do print them quite large. I was able to place the sheep onto a background I had made on the computer.

This image is called Birthday Ewe Trio and it is available HERE from Bugaboo stamps. I printed onto Neenah cardstock and I coloured the image with Promarkers.

I was able to place the sentiment that came with the image above the sheep before everything was printed. The cute bunting die is from Crafter's Companion.

Apart from the colouring this was quite a quick card to make. I do like Bugaboo images.

Have a great week

Crafts Galore Encore Challenge #72 - Anything Goes

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

I hope you have had a good week. Invigilating is finished for the time being. Unfortunately I could do the last day as I had a sickness bug. I still don't feel quite right. We are supposed to be visiting family on Sunday I will have to see how I am.

Who can believe that it is February already? Time for the new challenge at the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge Blog the theme is Anything Goes and the sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps.

The backing paper was in my stash.

There are so many wonderful images in the store. Click on the logo and you will be taken there.

The image I used is called Thank You Tulip Block and it is available HERE. I chose this image because you need thank you cards after Christmas.

The Tulips are beautiful. I printed the image onto a background I made on the computer. I coloured the Tulips with Promarkers. The blue of the background was pale enough to be covered with colour.

I got the Tulip die with the previous year's Crafter's Companion Advent calendar. The flower pot is a Spellbinders die.

Clyde Get Well

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

How is your week going? I have been able to get out and about as the weather hasn't been too bad here. At the weekend my hubby was poorly. He spent most of Saturday resting. This meant that I had some time to craft - this doesn't usually happen at the weekend.

I started by colouring an image. Then I found I had enough time to make it into a card.

I chose the papers to match the way I had coloured the image. The patterned paper was in my stash.

This little dragon is called Clyde and he comes from Bugaboo stamps. This image is called Clyde Get Well. I have used him before. I made a background on the computer as he is a PNG image he could be layered over the background. Then I coloured the image with my Promarkers.

I didn't really make this for my poorly hubby it is another one for my stash.

Winter Wonderland Challenge blog - Use Your Favourite Embellishments

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

I hope you have had a good week and that you have something nice planned for the weekend. Next week my husband has the week off work. I can't tell what we will be doing as the plans keep changing. On Sunday our daughter and son-in-law are bringing their hamster so that we can look after her while they are away. The plan is for them to come to lunch and then we will head to the Dinosaur Crazy Golf that popped up recently right here where we live. I will let you know how we get on.

The new challenge starts today at the Winter Wonderland Challenge blog. The theme is "Use Your Favourite Embellishments". The sponsor is the fabulous Bugaboo Stamps.

Though you can hardly see it there is some really pretty patterned paper in the background.

There are many wonderful images in the store. Click on the logo and you will be taken there.

This image is called Christmas Teddy 2 Ornaments and is available HERE.  As there was a PNG version of the image I was able to make a background on the computer and put the image on top. I printed onto Neenah card stock and I coloured the image with my Promarkers.

One of my embellishments was the addition of the Snowflake corner dies from Creative Expressions. I added a pearl to the centre of the snowflakes.

At the bottom I added some ribbon. I really like this ribbon it came on a present and it has nearly all gone.

That is another card for my Christmas card pile. Which is slowly getting bigger. I can see me making cards in a rush at the end again this year like last year.

Don't forget to join in with our challenge.

Not Just Cards Challenge Blog - July Challenge - Anything Goes

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

How is your week going?  I met up with my friends that I used to work  with yesterday at a local garden centre. There is a Hobbycraft store next door which just had to be visited. It would have been rude not too. Today and tomorrow I have a couple of quiet days it will be nice to  be catch up on some things.

Well today is 11th of the month and this means that there will be a new challenge at the Not Just Cards Challenge blog where the theme is Anything Goes.

A few months ago my husband asked me to make a birthday card for a lady at his work that likes dogs.  It had to be quite a large card for people to sign.

Our challenges are fun click on the logo and you will be taken there.

This image is called Cute Puppy and it is available HERE.  It came as a PNG image so I could place it onto my own background and I added the sentiment. The image was coloured with Promarkers.

I used the Ivy Spray dies and the Small Star flower dies from the John Next Door range to make the decorative border.

Enjoy the rest of the week.

Bella Christmas Ornaments - Merry Christmas card

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

How was your weekend? I hope that you had a good one. On Saturday we visited Beaulieu Motor Museum with our daughter and son-in-law. We met our son-in-law's parents there as they were showing one of their cars in a VW event. Their car even won a prize which was fantastic,  On Sunday we had a quiet day at home. I did make  my husband one of his favourite meals.

On Friday I was colouring an image for one of the Design Teams I am on. As my pens were out I decided to look through my printed images to see if there was another one I could colour and I found this one.

I am trying to keep up with my Christmas makes. I did colour the image first and then I chose papers that would match the colours I had used. I used lots of die cuts. All the white you can see on the card was made with Snippets. There are snowflakes, a snowflake border, winter trees  and a sentiment. All the dies I used are from Creative Expressions.

This image is called Bella Christmas Ornaments and the is available HERE from Bugaboo Stamps. As she is a PNG image I made the background on the computer and I could layer the image on top of the background. I printed the resulting image onto Neenah card stock and I coloured with my Promarkers. I did add a touch of sparkle to the ornaments with a Wink of Stella clear pen.

This is a Creative Expressions sentiment. When there is room I like to use a bold sentiment.

That is another card for my stash. It is a bit larger than my usual cards so it will have to be for someone special.

Winter Wonderland Anything But a Square Card Christmas Challenge

Hello My Craftty Blog Friends and Visitors

I hope you have had a good week. We are looking forward to a long weekend. There will be family visits but also plenty of time to work in the garden. Now that our neighbours have sorted their fence  we are feeling more  enthused about our own garden. The shed is nearly ready to be demolished.

Today the  new challenge starts today on the Winter Wonderland Challenge Blog and the theme is Anything but a Square Card. The sponsor for this challenge is Bugaboo Digi Stamps. The winner receives a $12 gift code.

To make this card I used my Double Pierced Circle Dies from Creative Expressions. The larger dies in the set I used to make the rocker part and the image and its mat were cut with some of the smaller dies.

https://bugaboostamps.com/

There are many wonderful images in the store. Click on the logo and you will be taken there.

This image is called Sunbonnet Christmas Stuff and she is available HERE, I created and background on the computer the PNG version of the image was placed on the background. This was all printed onto Neenah card stock and I coloured the image with Promarkers.

To the card I added some trees cut with the Winter Trees dies from Creative Expressions. I used them to balance the rocker. The sentiment was cut with a John Next Door die. I do like small sentiment dies as I often don't leave much space for a sentiment. I did enjoy making this card I might just make some more.
