Customer service went above and beyond…

Customer service went above and beyond to help with the issue I was experiencing. They ended up replacing the parts I was having issues with with no additional expense to me. These screens are very thin, and lightweight, nice product.

Worth the investment. Gorgeous big display.

I researched a lot before buying the Espresso Pro 17. I was frustrated by the resolution and the dimness of my previous portable monitor and how that negatively affected my productivity while traveling and working. The Espresso Pro 17 fixed all of that. Turned all the way up, it's quite bright and met my expectations. The 4k display is gorgeous. The 17-inch screen is excellent for productivity.

The magnet placement and attachment to the very nice pro stand takes some getting used to - for me. The magnetic attachment is strong when it's perfectly centered to the monitor. But jostle it a bit by accident or not perfectly centered, and it can slip down. I accidentally got two tiny scratches in the first week because it wasn't perfectly centered and slipped onto my desk—no big deal. The monitor is excellent.

I attach the display to my PC via the included USB-C-to-USB-C cable. But if you want to use your PC's HDMI port, you need a special cable with a USB-C connector on one end (which plugs into the display) and an HDMI + USB-A connector on the other end, which you plug into your PC.

The Espresso Pro 17 is a bit pricey, but the investment is worth it. There is no better 4k monitor this size on the market. And it has a gorgeous and bright display. I am very productive on the road because of it.

Great Products and Great Customer Support

I have owned the 17 Pro for nearly a year and recently purchased the espresso Lite 15 as a backup. Super impressed with both screens. I can now run both screens from my laptop giving me the perfect working environment when I am working away from my office. The screens are light and compact making them the perfect travelling companion. Also, I cannot speak highly enough of the support from espresso. If you do have an issue as I did in the past with a slippery magnet, they are right onto it.

Order didn’t arrive as specified

Order didn’t arrive as specified. Customer service made it seem like i was lying but eventually did correct it.

Now the screen just went off after barely using it. I want to travel with it. There is enough time for them to fix it if the choose to but from the speed it seems like they’re not going to move fast.

All that said, the screen itself is really amazing. I absolutely love it. It’s such a pleasure using it when it as working

An excellent case that has compartments…

An excellent case that has compartments for all of the different parts for your monitor. It is sturdy and well-made. It has made taking my espresso with me so much easier. This is a really necessary, accessory, and I'm so glad this was made!

Love this display, after sales support is fantastic!

Love this display. I recently had an issue with with it not connecting with new laptop. Turns out it required a firmware update. Whilst a bit annoying I couldn't do it myself, I had amazing fast service from Espresso Support who organised for it to be shipped back, updated and returned very promptly. Louie was fantastic to deal with and I was very impressed!

Be prepared to spend more

Once you get it working, the monitor is pretty good. But if you need to connect with HDMI, then be prepared to spend another $100 on their proprietary cable. It should work with HDMI out of the box, and it feels like deceptive sales practice that it doesn’t.

And if you contact support, expect an AI response that may not be accurate.

Overall, a disappointing start.

This is noted in all product descriptions and the compatibility section. We also have an in depth device compatibility page stating that "If your laptop lacks USB-C or doesn’t support display output, an adapter (sold separately) is required." (espres.so/compatibility). While our AI bot can sometimes get things wrong, we aim to get matters passed on to our team as soon as they are online.

Build and quality is A grade for business

I’ve been in the IT hardware game for 35+ years and I’ve seen a lot of devices for all different requirements. I saw a web commercial a few years ago for these espresso panels and did a bit of research and they looked impressive, however I didn’t have much of a need back then.

I finally was presented a need and purchased the 13” touch panel. Build quality is superb, ultra thin and lightweight. Dealing with the post sales and support team has been what I would expect for the premium price point and it’s a good design giving you enough bezel at the bottom to hold the screen in the hand if that’s required.

Only drawback is that you need a display cable and doesn’t run on batteries and has a wireless display. Future models perhaps?

Great after sales support & amazing product

The support team, particularly Louie was very responsive and helped me resolve the issues I had with my espresso display. He helped me troubleshoot and arranged for repairs / replacement in swift time. That's why I'm glad I stuck to an Australian business. Of course the product (15 Pro) is great too! but the after market support matters just as much, if not even more! I'm a mac user and the quality of the product stacks up the apple.

Dual use espresso Stand+ Pro

I recently got an espresso Stand+ Pro for my espresso 17" pro display. I appreciate the extra height the stand gives me when I'm using the espresso display. – I also can use the Stand+ Pro another way (without the display) as a document/ notebook holder. I can clip an 8.5x11" notepad to the stand, and write on it during an online meeting on-the-go. This way, meeting participants can see what's on the notepad during the meetings. – As with all the espresso products, it's beautifully designed, ergonomic, and easy for on-the-go.

User experience below what is expected at the price point

The screen that I own, the 17inch pro is really nice, but the owner experience is really dragged down by multiple issues, some smaller some barely manageable.

1. My screen came with and still has quite a lot of edge bleed, I showed Espresso, and they reply that, that amount I showed them is normal.. perhaps it is, but I'm greeted with it every time I power on the display and its more than any screen I have owned over the past 25 years.. and it just presents a sour user experience.

2. The magnet stand is weaker than expected. Espresso acknowledged this and send me a new, which is marginally stronger, I still think it is too weak as I'm afraid it will fall off at some point and break on its own weight.. But I have given up replacing the stand I have as I think it must be a design issue... fixed read above

3. The computer that I bought this for apparently does not supply power enough from its USB4. This is not directly Espressos fault, but I found the 17pro being marketed as a "one plug" travel solution.. And its just not that for me.

4. Support is helpful and friendly, but I feel that I have ran around in circles, often explaining the same thing over and over, or being offered the same advice multiple times.

I love the Idea of the product, but my experience so far has been hampered.
