First rate service and an innovative…

First rate service and an innovative one at that. Not only did I end up cash positive their fees were cheaper than skipping the old kitchen.
The team were very responsive and clearly knew the market so my expectations were well managed.
As is always the case when doing building works timings needed to be flexed but they had the capacity to cope with this.
The photographer was very professional and took all the necessary measurements and the removal team were skilled and easy to have in my home.
I couldn't recommend them more highly.

£62 per hour for untrained staff

I have a larger than average home. My normal cleaner is having a baby. She explained in great detail to the director what was required. We booked to have two visits a week. I was promised the whole house would be cleaned on both visits. They promised 100% satisfaction. Two ladies arrived - it was clear that they were untrained and expected just to hoover (knocking into the skirting boards and chipping the paintwork), throw a dirty mop about (leaving puddles of water), wipe around a bit. They didn’t even know how to clean a toilet or a sink I sent through photos of their attempts. They left after 1.5 hours. I paid £62 per hour! The company would not give me any recompense.

Don’t rely on their returns process being honest

I ordered 4 pairs of shoes two of the same shoes in different colours. 2 arrived in the wrong size (I ordered a 4 but received 4.5) and I put this on my return form but they won’t accept my return saying I’ve worn them. They also won’t accept return of one of the other pairs which I sent back as being too narrow. Again because they say I’ve worn them. I commenced the return within an hour of receiving the shoes and only put them on the carpet. I have not worn them -I couldn’t - and I know they haven’t got my shoes in front of them when they state I’ve worn them because they continually refer to the size I ordered not what I received. I have explained the time line but they don’t listen. It feels like a scam. They are NOT operating in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. We have a right to return online purchases within 28 days.

I’d give no stars if that was an…

I’d give no stars if that was an option. I reported my ovens not working in November and it’s now nearly April and I am still waiting for them to repair them. For months the excuse was no parts. Then they sent a person not qualified to work on a gas oven. Then they turned up and said they needed another part which I now know they have but they won’t say when they will fix it. Never buy one of their products. The aftercare is without a doubt the worst imaginable. This company owns a number of well known brands now so beware.

Yet again the information received from
Smarty is misleading. Just received an email saying I have run out of data when I check my account it says I have 5.8GB. The email says I have to buy add ons now. Otherwise I would need to wait until my plan renews.trying to sort this out but been left hanging for 36 mins

The provider doesn’t give helpful…

The provider doesn’t give helpful information when using the sim abroad. This sometimes also happens in the UK. In both situations it has informed me that the credit was about to run out panicking me into buying more when I still had plenty of credit.

Why have two of the last three…

Why have two of the last three deliveries not happened and why no notification in advance that this will happen. Why is payment still taken and my account showing delivery has been made? Then days later this is amended to reflect the true position. The company worked well throughout the lockdowns but it’s service recently has fallen off a cliff.

Originally delivered to the wrong house…

Originally delivered to the wrong house in a completely different postcode but admittedly with the same name. The supplier resent all the items and then the owner of the other house kindly delivered the first parcel to us so we had two of everything. Hermes instructed to collect original parcel. Twice they said they tried to collect. But I was in all day on both occasions. Third time lucky but Hermes still sent me an email saying I was out! So my review is absolutely useless

Never again

First order made on 24 August last item received today 9/9/20! Order made on 4 September with guaranteed next working day delivery still not received today 9/9/20 even though the website says dispatched not received by the courier company. Return process is a nightmare as every item needs its own form which prints as two pages. They do not answer the phone nor do they respond to emails. Avoid.

Very Honest and Professional

I was nervous about using an online company but as they had the item I wanted in stock unlike the manufacturers or John Lewis I took the plunge and I am very glad I did. You can order on the phone where they are polite, quick and knowledgeable. They give you more than you ask for too. The delivery came very quickly and they have a service for taking your old machine away. Again Iw as finding this difficult with other suppliers. They couldn't have done more.
