Raegan Brown
Creative Technologist, Magnopus & Afrofuturist

As an innovative Creative Technologist at Magnopus, Raegan Brown is dedicated to designing and developing immersive experiences that blend digital and physical realms, leveraging VR, AR, AI, and game engines such as Unreal Engine and Unity. Having worked with companies such as NASA Glenn Research Center, Intel, and AT&T, with immersive technologies at the forefront of innovation - she has collaborated on projects crafting engaging experiences for clients such as Epic Games, Meta and cultural institutions throughout California. An alumna and an instructor of the GRX Immersive Labs Unreal Engine and Virtual Production Fellowship, she is passionate about empowering diverse communities through education in real-time and virtual production, and motion capture. She also facilitates a workshop through her Creative Agency , The (She.LL), entitled Immersive Tech for the Culture. This creative technology workshop is centered around hands on activities in immersive technology foundations, intergenerational healing, futurism, and community codesigning. She holds dual B.S. degrees in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from Spelman College and North Carolina A&T, and an M.S. in Computer Science Multimedia and Creative Technologies from the University of Southern California.
