Hi Kushal,
My apologies for the delay in responding to your question. In my defense, I only saw it today.
First of all, thanks for the compliment. I am more than glad that you loved my quotes. Day-to-day events inspire me to write such quotes. Sometimes in the midst of a conversation a quote might strike your grey cells; at other times, enjoying a quiet time alone, pondering upon life you come up with such lines. So, this is my answer in a nutshell- when my mind isn't tamed, I come up with such lines. (less)

The Illusion of Being "Self-Made"

Dear Reader,

Long before we learned how to spell “self-made”, we watched Bollywood movies that glorified the Self-Made Man.

This role would mostly be assumed by the lead female actor’s Father. He would be a self-made man who would have had come to the glorious city of Mumbai or New York with an equivalent of 10 dollars in his pocket. He would have no contacts but would have somehow have become a Bil

“Often it feels like I am breathing today only because a few years back I had no idea which nerve to cut...”
Sanhita Baruah

“What broke your heart so bad
That you had to close every door,
That you say you have a dark soul
And can't utter the word 'love' anymore?”
Sanhita Baruah

“It is not as much about who you used to be, as it is about who you choose to be.”
Sanhita Baruah

“I was full of a hot, powerful sadness and would have loved to burst into the comfort of tears, but tried hard not to, remembering something my Guru once said -- that you should never give yourself a chance to fall apart because, when you do, it becomes a tendency and it happens over and over again. You must practice staying strong, instead.”
Elizabeth Gilbert, Eat, Pray, Love

“I’m here. I love you. I don’t care if you need to stay up crying all night long, I will stay with you. If you need the medication again, go ahead and take it—I will love you through that, as well. If you don’t need the medication, I will love you, too. There’s nothing you can ever do to lose my love. I will protect you until you die, and after your death I will still protect you. I am stronger than Depression and I am braver than Loneliness and nothing will ever exhaust me.”
Elizabeth Gilbert, Eat, Pray, Love

“What if you wake up one fine morning only to realize that the life you have been living since the last few days was nothing but a dream of yours?

Would you go back to sleep then?

I wake up each morning only to realize you're not by my side. And if this emptiness is nothing but a nightmare, let me wake up and go back to the time we were together...”
Sanhita Baruah

“It’s not TIME that heals everything, it is SLEEP...

Sleeping is the perfect answer to all doubts and troubles.

Leaving the world of reality behind and disappearing in to a world of make-believe and imaginations, is a solace you get from nothing else...”
Sanhita Baruah, Uff Ye Emotions

“For grief has always been so dear to you that you would make me writhing in pain in the brothel of your imaginations than to be playing with a bunch of balloons in the yard where I should have been."
"And may be that's why, you'd rather talk to me about this, than to write a story about me where I could live happily.”
