When I sit down and the…moreI don't believe in writer's block. Being an author is A LOT of work. Writing is only one small aspect of the whole experience. When I sit down and the words do not flow, that means I am suppose to be taking care of a different aspect of the job. It could be I need to read something, or I need to edit what I have or maybe a web site needs attending or I should be spending time marketing or networking. If the words don't flow, I get up and look for what it is I am suppose to be doing and it never takes long to reveal itself. Once I do what needs to be done, the words come back. By following this pattern, I never feel stressed out. If something is not working, I don't get upset, I trust the process and go with the flow and maintain my inner peace.(less)

As I write or type, there is a taking over, where thoughts flow, ideas never thought of before all of a sudden pop into my head. It is more an experience of being, not the creator of the idea, but more the scribe taking dictation. I learn as much or more during the writing process than I do from the books I read. (less)
