JANUS Research Group Recognizes George Conrad with Energy Award
12/10/2025
George Conrad is nominated for an Energy Award for his exceptional performance in support of the Future Warfare Division’s (FWD) Future Study Program 2026 T2COM Commander’s Wargame (FSP26-1). As the Event Network Lead and Knowledge Manager, Mr. Conrad played a critical role in establishing the digital infrastructure for the event, helping to set up more than 210 Network Technology Secure (NTS) accounts and over 200 Educational Network accounts. He ensured all Acceptable Use Policies (AUPs) were properly configured and validated before and throughout the event, maintaining compliance and information assurance standards.
Mr. Conrad demonstrated exceptional initiative when he rapidly identified that the certification for SIPR laptops lapsed just days before the event. He immediately coordinated with Collins Hall IT personnel and the Regional Network Enterprise Center to recertify all systems within only 48 hours, ensuring the event started as scheduled.
In addition to these accomplishments, he continued executing his broader responsibilities—defining event roles and information requirements, establishing secure network-group structures, developing folder architectures for information capture and sharing, producing the classified event information security plan, and designing the archival scheme for all Future Study Program (FSP) official records.
Mr. Conrad’s outstanding performance directly set the conditions for FSP26-1 success and reflects greatly upon JANUS Research Group and the professionalism of the entire FWD team.
We are pleased to recognize George Conrad with this Energy Award.
