🎓💼 Enrollment is NOW OPEN for Pima County’s Summer Youth Employment Program! Pima County’s Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) is officially open! Youth ages 14–21 can now apply for paid summer internships that build real-world skills and career experience. Program Details: • Application Period: February 2, 2026 (7am AZ Time) - February 27, 2026 (5pm AZ Time) • Two Program Sessions: June 1–26 and July 6–31 • Starting Pay: $16.54 Last year, more than 600 youth worked at nearly 200 worksites across Pima County. This summer, we’re aiming to serve up to 850 participants in roles across public service, parks, libraries, healthcare, nonprofits, and more. He’s dedicated to his work, evidenced by his initiative to read up on the maintenance and care of the intricate machines at the Clay Target Center, which has allowed him to troubleshoot issues saving taxpayers tens of thousands of dollars in potential repair costs and downtime. He was among the six employees honored at the Jan. 20 Board of Supervisors meeting as part of the We A.R.E. Gems program.💙
