Starbucks offered a sneak peek tasting event at its 2026 Investor Day to celebrate the expansion of its new menu for spring, while noting further innovation to come. Tressie Lieberman, global chief brand officer, said her team’s focus over the last year is to be visible, relevant and loved — everywhere. Investors and media got a taste of this, literally, with a sampling of menu items coming to coffeehouses this spring and beyond. Customers can soon look forward to Iced Ube Coconut Macchiato, Double Berry Matcha, Iced Lavender Cream Chai and more. Meet Jazzy and Michelle, who helped test the new coffeehouse coach role (formerly "assistant store manager") at Starbucks. Most U.S. coffeehouses will hire a coffeehouse coach this year. In testing, the role helped baristas feel more supported, allowed coffeehouse leaders to better balance their workload, and helped deliver a more consistent customer experience throughout the day. This investment is also a big part of our commitment to hire 90% of retail leaders internally and to create clear paths for partners who want to build a career with Starbucks.
