Cutaway for "A Night in the Lonesome October" by David Roger Zelazny, set in 18th century France. One of the count’s hideouts is in the ruins of a church crypt covered in dirt, mud and weeds. The earth has piled up high and even covers some of the crypts in the cemetery less their tops. The crypt contains a handsome coffin up on a pair of trestles.
