Recipe: Murgir Jhol, ‘Chicken Curry’ Bengali Style

Ingredients:
 • - 6 medium sized Potatoes peeled and cut in half
 • - 1 kg Chicken pieces 
 • - 250 gm/4 medium size Onions chopped 
 • - 3 Tomatoes chopped 
 • - 2 tsp Garlic Paste
 • - 1 tsp Ginger Paste 
 • - 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder 
 • - 1 tsp Kashmiri Chilli Powder
 • - 2 tsp Turmeric Powder
 • - 2 tsp Cumin Powder 
 • - 1/2 cup Yogurt 
 • - Salt as per your taste
 • - 2 tsp Ghee 
 • - 3 tbsp Mustard Oil
 • - 1 tsp Garam Masala
 • - 4 Green Chillies sliced
 • - 2 tbsp chopped Coriander Leaves 

Method:
 • - Heat Mustard Oil in a Kadai 
 • - Add Potatoes, pinch of Turmeric Powder and Salt
 • - Par-Fry at medium heat till light brown, keep it aside
 • - Add chopped Onions in the same oil 
 • - Stir-Fry at low hea
