35min · 4 servings  You have to try this easy and delicious kala chana chaat!  ▶️ INGREDIENTS:   • 1 Cup Washed and Soaked Overnight Kala Chana  • 2 Cups Water  • ⅓ Cup Chopped Red Onion  • ⅓ Cup Chopped Tomato (Pulped Removed)  • Handful of Chopped Cilantro  • 1 Tsp Chaat Masala Powder  • 1 Tsp Chili Powder  • Salt to Taste  • ½ Lemon Juice  ▶️ METHOD:   1. Begin by washing and soaking the kala chana overnight.   2. Drain the water and rinse the kala chana. Now put the kala chana, fresh water, and a dash of salt into your Instant Pot. Then cover it with the lid and close the vent. Now turn your Instant Pot on and select PRESSURE COOK to HIGH pressure and NORMAL. Set the timer to 25 minutes. Let the pressure release naturally.   3. BOILED BLACK CHANA - 50g

MULTIGRAIN BREAD - 2 slices

CHOPPED BELL PEPPERS - 1 Tbsp each

CURD - 2 Tbsp

OREGANO - 1 Tsp

CHILLI FLAKES - 1 Tsp

BLACK PEPPER - 1 Tsp

ZEERA POWDER - 1 Tsp

SALT - to taste

TOMATO SLICES - 2

LETTUCE - 1 small leaf

Instructions:

1. Soak the Black Chana overnight.

2. Next morning, boil them.

3. In a bowl, add curd, oregano, salt, pepper and chilli flakes. Mix.

4. Toast 2 slices of multigrain breads.

5. Apply the curd dip on both the toasts.

Try this quick, yummy and super easy to make Kala Chana Chaat when you want to eat something really tasty yet watch those calories. 

Ingredients
 • 1 cup black chickpeas (soaked overnight & boiled or canned chickpeas)
 • 1/2 cup sprouted moong beans
 • 1/4 cup tomatoes chopped
 • 1/4 cup onions chopped
 • 1/4 cup potatoes (boiled peeled and chopped)
 • 1 tsp ginger chopped
 • 1-2 chillies chopped
 • 2-3 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
 • 2 tbsp mint coriander chutney
 • 3-4 tbsp date & tamarind chutney
 • 1 tsp salt
 • 2 tsp roasted cumin seeds power
 • 4-5 papdis crushed (optional)
 • 2-3 tbsp nylon sev (to garnish)

- take 1 cup soaked black chana (soaked for minimum 6 hours)
 • - Pressure cook kala chana with salt and ginger (optional) upto 5 whistles
 • - Now mix all dry masala (2 tbs Dhaniya Jeera powder, 2 tbs Kashmiri Red Chili powder, 1 tsp haldi powder, 1 tsp Amchur powder and Hing)
 • - add some water into dry masala and mix it well
 • - heat 1-1 tbs oil and ghee in a pan
 • - add 2 tbs jeera
 • - add dry masala paste and cook till masala releases oil 
 • - add boiled black chana
 • - cook for some time till chana becomes more dry and all flavours get well-combined
 • - At last add 1/2 tsp Garam Masala (optional)
 • - add 1 tsp kasoori meethi and 2 fresh green chilies 
 • - mix everything well and garnish with fresh dhaniya 
 • It’s so delicious must try with Halwa and Poori. Will share Suj
