Recipe:  • 1/2 Cup Ghee (adjust accordingly)  • 1 Cup Dalia/ broken wheat  • 3 Cups hot Water  • 1/4 tsp salt  • 1 Cup Jaggery or sugar  • 1/2 tsp Elaichi powder  • 1/4th tsp Nutmeg Powder  • 1/4 cup Almonds chopped  • - Melt ghee in a heavy bottom pan. Sauté Dalia over low heat for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.  • - Carefully add hot water and salt. Cover and simmer for 7-8 minutes.  • - Add the remaining ingredients. Give it all a good mix and cook for 2 more minutes.  • - Serve warm.  • - Enjoy 😊  #lapsi #brokenwheat #sweet

1hr · 2 servings     INGREDIENTS   • 	1/2 cup Broken Wheat (Dalia/ Godumai Rava) , (I used the smaller grains)  • 	1 glass of Water  • 	2 glasses of Milk  • 	3-4 strands Kesar  • 	¼ tsp Elachi  • 	Sugar, to taste  • 	Mixed nuts, as required  • PROCESS  • 	the broken wheat to a pan placed on low heat and roast till it becomes golden brown.   • 	To the same pan, add water and cook till it softens.   • 	Next add milk and let the contents come to a boil. Simmer on medium-low flame till milk and broken wheat are well assimilated and start to thicken just a little bit.  • 	Again, add 1 glass of milk, elachi & kesar & simmer for 4-5 mins.  • 	Switch off the heat. Stir in the sugar. Allow the contents to cool or serve warm with fruits of your choice.
