To perform a goblet squat effectively: -hold a dumbbell or kettlebell close to your chest.  -Stand with your feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.  -Keep your chest up, core engaged, and back straight as you lower your hips down by bending your knees.  -Aim to lower until your elbows touch your knees or thighs.  -Then, push through your heels to return to the starting position. SUMO SQUAT VS GOBLET SQUAT: form tips‼️🤩  ((There are lots of different cues here for both exercises so make sure to hold down on the screen to pause the video and read/screenshot them!))  The biggest difference between sumo squat and goblet squat is the foot placement and where your weight is distributed over your foot!  If you want to target more QUADS, do goblets. If you want to target more GLUTES, do sumos🍑  But with any squat variation, both will work the full leg. These are not exercises that will ONLY work glutes or quads; the full leg will be involved but you will have more emphasis on one or the other.  • Goblet squats can be done without elevating the heels but I personally feel it MUCH more in my quads when I elevate my heels on dumbbells or a plate.
